It is amazing the folks that spend more time looking in dictionaries and no time looking in economics and science books have such strong opinions on global warming. Global warming is not a scientific reality as some who profit from it would have you believe. It is politico science that folks conjured up for financial gain.
If this is not the case, then why does our government of fools not entertain the 30K + scientists that have signed a petition saying that there is no scientific evidence that CO2 (not carbon but carbon dioxide) generated by man has caused global warming. Actually, the mean temperature of the earth has dropped over the last eight years, and when people were burning coal as the main energy option for heat, carbon emissions were at their highest, and temperatures were at their lowest in a century.
Before you react so strongly in defense of global warming, do your homework.
This is the first time in history when a political agenda superseded scientific method in search for the truth.
You pay the increased cost of everything produced in our society and stand in the dark waiting for the government to develop a transmission grid to support undependable and costly energy options. I can assure you Mr. Gore will be warm in any one of his opullent homes.

100% correct. It’s a vast, enviro-fascist conspiracy propounded by an international cabal of politicians and liberal businessmen who stand to make billions of dollars and scads of political clout in selling fear via “eco-friendly” products and policies to a naive and braindead populace.

Al Gore did not spend the last 8 years educating the world about global warming as some sort of convoluted, unnecessarily arduous strategy to make more money through Kleiner Perkins – that would be ludicrous. And understand that Global Warming is not a part of some vast, enviro-fascist conspiracy propounded by an international cabal of greedy meteorologists, marine biologists, and wildlife refuge caretakers.

Give me a break. Gore is only putting his money where his mouth is. What do you expect him to do — invest in the coal mining industry? He’s no longer an elected official. This shouldn’t even be an issue.
