Father Wants ‘Murdered by Muslim Terrorists’ on Son’s Memorial

Peter Gadiel’s son, James, was killed when Muslim murderers crashed a plane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. In memory of that horrible day, James’ hometown of Kent, Connecticut wants to erect a plaque memorializing James’ death but there has come a snag to the city’s plans: James’ father, Peter.
Peter Gadiel wants a specific line added to the plaque making the city fathers squeamish. He wants the plaque to say, “murdered by Muslim terrorists.”
Town officials have been scandalized by this all too trenchant line that Peter wants added to the memorial to his son. Kent’s city officials are playing the can’t-we-all-get-along game.
“We perceive ourselves as a very warm, loving town,” said Ruth Epstein, a Kent selectman and one of two town leaders to vote the plaque down. “To disparage any one ethnic group is just against everything that we stand for here.”
Idiots. I’ll bet if you asked all the three thousand Americans murdered by those Muslim terrorists that dark September 11th day they each would have said that they felt that they all lived in “very warm and loving” towns.
Guess what you idiots at the Kent City Hall? These Muslim murderers don’t care a whit about your “warm and loving” town! They would have no qualms whatsoever about bombing you warmly into oblivion.
Gadiel, for his part, is sad that people are too easily forgetting about our murdering Muslim enemies.
“It isn’t just overlooked, it’s suppressed,” Gadiel said. “It’s simply wrong to imply that people just died. The buildings didn’t just collapse, they didn’t just fall down — they were attacked by people with a specific identity, a specific purpose.”
Exactly right.
The town of Kent should dump it’s warm and fuzzy rose-colored glasses and see the world as it truly is. Add the line that father Peter wants to the memorial.
NEVER FORGET!

MASH message for Peter Gadiel:
Dear Mr. Gadiel,
You said: “Muslims have to acknowledge that it was their co-religionists who committed this act in their name.” We couldn’t agree with you more. Please know that there are Muslims who are disgusted with Kent officials’ cowardice. Without acknowledging what happened on 9/11, there is no way forward. Germany acknowledged the Holocaust and other atrocities perpetrated by the Nazis in WWII and Germans became a better people for it. We would like to add our voices to your demand that “Murdered by Muslim terrorists” be added on your son’s memorial plaque.
Respectfully,
Muslims Against Sharia

Why not just go ahead and say “George Tiller- Murdered by White Christian Extremist”… i’m sure his family loved him just as much as this father loved his son. Personally, it sounds awful to me, but it would be their right to do so. And yea, you might say you are ok with it now that your trying to make a point, but had this never come up, there would be an equal amount of outrage from the very people that support this guy right now. Why can’t we just move passed this. I hear people saying “what happened to freedom of speech..?”, but noone follows up with it saying “…however I do think this is a little extreme”… and if you DONT think thats extreme then something just isnt right and its scary to me.. It’s just a complete step back to me. How would you as a Muslim, who feels very strong and passionate about there religion, feel about reading that…better yet, if your white, and if George Tiller was a black man, and you read somethin crazy like Murdered by White Christian Extremist on his memorial, how would that make you feel. You’d say to yourself “why bring race into this…”… likewise Muslims feel “why bring my religion into this”… I understand the freedom of speech argument…i really do, but i just dont see how people have no problem at all with him putting that up there. It’s very insensitive… you tell me… how far is too far?
