Check this out. I was just talking to my friend at work. He happens to be black, and we don’t agree completely on race. However, I had some interesting conversations with him on race and politics. We discussed how statistically the African American race has more fathers leaving their families than any other race in America. He mentioned that a preacher blamed this on whites during the slavery era. He was tired of his own race blaming their own flaws on history. This is all his words, and he is as liberal as they come. We also talked about the flawed system of welfare, how it is taken advantage of, and the victim card. What it boils down to, is the Democrats push the government dependency on minorities to hold them down in poverty. My friend had an epiphany on this, and this video is totally related.

i know the general area where that was shot, now i just have to figure out where exactly…
just out of curiosity. train tracks were likely Slauson Ave, and the homes probably over just east of Leimert Park in the “Avenues”, where the Black Dahlia was found after the war.
if nothing else, it’s a good reason to pick up some BBQ from Phillip’s, since Gadberry’s and Sherman’s are both closed now, near as i can tell.
