There is a real shortage, caused by the huge debt young doctors start their careers with. Becoming a specialist is essential to earning enough to pay off the loans. What the US has too many of is LAWYERS!. What working attorney with real clients would ever take on such a load of crap like this? Maybe it's time to close down some of the law schools.
