We could always remove that statue of the goddess liberty from New York Harbor as it is a pagan religious symbol that might offend some Atheist, Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, etc.

Or we could just choose to keep it and support what it stands for.

That is a question equivalent to the one in this case.

I am reading the court brief available at the ACLU site. This moron that is trying to have this cross removed is still complaining because he has to look at it every time he visits the preserve. What ever happened to "If you don't like it, don't look at it"?

I, along with many others would be very offended if they remove this memorial. I wonder if the ACLU would represent us if we file a suit to stop its removal?

To add insult to injury, the idiot who filed suit is a Christian and has no problem with the Cross. Only that it is/was on government land which, of course, it now isn't but that's not good enough for the ACLU.

This is like the Mr. Soledad Cross down here in San Diego. Look, it's like this:

Douchebag who is offended can look the other way. I see shizz every single day that pisses me off, even offends me. Some fat ho today was wearing neon spandex. NEON. Her fat rolls were exposed everywhere. I was VERY offended. That being said, I didn't HAVE to look. I could have easily looked away. Though like a train wreck that's hard. But it's about self control And I guess the ho had a right to expose her vast rolls.

Beside's, I'm an atheist and I go to the Mt. Soledad Cross all the time, the view is great from there. It's made of concrete, it means a lot to a lot of people who am I to care about something that has ZERO effect on me?
