Media Matters Is Today’s Poster Child For Batty Crazy
There’s another phrase I would like to use to describe Media Matters, but since I am cross posting, I’ll leave that phrase to your imagination. Eric Boehlert goes full on barking moonbat unhinged, not to mention History Challenged
A President was killed the last time right-wing hatred ran wild like this
That being John F. Kennedy, who was gunned down in Dallas, of course.
Um, what? Is it really necessary to mention that Lee Harvey Oswald was a massive lefty who defected to the Liberals beloved and much missed U.S.S.R.?
James Piereson noted in his book that immediately upon being told that Lee Harvey Oswald had been arrested for assassinating her husband, Jackie Kennedy replied, “He didn’t even have the satisfaction of being killed for civil rights. It had to be some silly little Communist. It even robs his death of any meaning.”
And apparently, of any real history, as well. But then, as Jonah Goldberg noted in several chapters of Liberal Fascism, the left has a unique ability to jettison its history when it outlives its usefulness — or cast the worst elements of America’s history off on the right when appropriate. And of course, considering the number of times nationalization of the health care industry has been attempted, it might be wise for the left to find a less toxic metaphor for what’s becoming a recurring revolt by the American people against those who would reduce their choices and freedoms.
Today’s Left in America is sick, disturbed and dangerous. I wouldn’t recommend turning your back on, or losing sight of them if you can help it. There aren’t enough, or the right words to describe how truly pathetic they have become.

Big ups to Lobo and Steve and John and all you guys fighting the good fight! You are at the opposite end of the spectrum from MediaMatters. Media does NOT matter, TRUTH matters!!!
Do you think the left are fanticizing Obama being made a martyr? If we sit and watch him fail he will go down in history as what he is…a failure. If someone kills him they make him a legend of what might have been if we hadn’t killed hope.

Damn straight. Assassination pr0n is a sign of desperation. The guy’s such a total loser that only martyrdom can rescue him.
We’ve been talking about Carter parallels. Maybe we owe Boehlert a thank-you for pointing out the JFK parallels, which if anything are more striking.
