Pete Stark (D) to Constituent: “I wouldn’t dignify you by peeing on your leg”

Posted on September 14, 2009

I think Democrats must be having a competition to see who can insult their constituents with the most rudeness. The guy is asking Pete a question about Obamacare and uses the old phrase, “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining”. Or in other words, “don’t lie to me.” Quick-witted, smart a$$ Pete Stark couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be a total a$$.

“I wouldn’t dignify you by peeing on your leg. It wouldn’t be worth wasting the urine.”

All wee wee’d up.

Republicans can have it all if Michael Steele and his minions have the stones to grab a bunch of these videos from Youtube and use them in 2010 ads. Run them everywhere.

Even the most uninvolved will feel the anger and vote the bastids out.

“Why didn’t we do this a year ago?”

Um, a year ago, it was Bush, not Obama. Did the old guy lose his ability to recall the time of events? Fun how they don’t keep anything after that. Makes me wonder what else the fellow said and was edited. *shrug* Y’know, I think if someone’s going to insult someone else’s integrity (the guy was telling Stark to not lie to him, implying that he would do so), then I don’t think it was an appropriate response.

And the comment covering the video that reads: How about a valid drivers license? (Lacking punctuation in “driver’s” of course.) Um, yeah. He said if he had a heart attack and was carted off. The poster of the video expects people to always be carrying valid ID?? A person has a heart attack in their home so they’re supposed to grab their wallet/purse before the ambulance takes them away? WTF is that?

Please explain to me how they would level the playing field without setting rates or imposing harsh restrictions if there is no public option that would be able to offer a lower cost insurance which would really force the insurance companies to lower their costs so they could compete?

The criticisms expressed by the editor of the video are all kinds of wrong. Love how this peeing comment became a platform to edit responses and show only parts of the meeting that the editor wanted. It’s one of my favorite things about the media–magical editing. (Try participating in some honest reporting, please.)

I’ve hat tipped your post from Pete Stark’s ill temper exposed: “I wouldn’t dignify you by peeing on your leg”

He is sick, he has lost the concept of “We the people,” he has been corrupted by and addicted to power, he is becoming a tyrant who rules over and looks down on his constituents.

He needs to be cured, he needs power to be removed if there is any chance for him to return to a normal life where he can look his neighbors in the eye and they will greet him with a smile.

Help in his recovery! Vote him out of office.
