She was with child as I recall. We have two morons here..Ted Kennedy, the Cowardly Lion and Tin Man wrapped into one–and then we have Ed Klein, the Scarecrow! In this case the ending wasn’t good….Dorothy (Mary Jo)didn’t wake up with a bump on her head surrounded by people caring, praying.
Idolizing a drunken, womanizing, self serving hypocrite is typical of the country. The man superficially, through staff, helped 1000’s but callously let one woman die to protect himself. A human being, probably 2 are dead because he failed to act responsibly.
Ed Klein Scarecrow just doesn’t have a brain..how could he be so insensitive about the death of a human being that he would try to “humanize” Lion/TinMan by revealing he liked to hear jokes about Chappaquidick? Was the moron aware of the pain he inflicted on relatives, friends or people her story touched?

When I wrote about Senator Ted Kennedy’s death I didn’t bring up what some would say is his legacy, or at the very least tarnished his legacy and appears how he is being remembered by those who Google… Chappaquiddick which some feel has been airbrushe…

Sadly our nation is morally bankrupt, we forget the grotesque things people do and allow the media and liberalism ideals amount to ‘heroism’ one celebrity after another, just because they are rich, or can shoot a ball thru a hoop.

Until we start recognizing true heroes and ethical behavior as a nation, we are doomed to live in this mess we have allowed to continue unchecked by complacency.

James, I respectfully submit that “stupid” is not the correct word. “Venal” or “disgusting” or “vomitous sludge” or “complete waste of oxygen” but not merely “stupid”.

Do you think T.K. would have laughed if someone told him a joke about the murder that took place in Dallas Texas on October 12, 1963?

I may have gotten my date a little confused as this event took place a long time ago, but I trust my intent was clear.

Best Ed Kennedy line ever: A few years ago A television report about him mentioned the personal tragedies that befell other members of the family; assassination, plane crash, etc. Then the correspondent speaking to Kennedy says that he, too, had experienced a personal tragedy,… at Chappaquiddick. And the thought that immediately came to mind: “That’s like saying Jack the Ripper experienced a personal tragedy!”

I told this to my Dad, generally a liberal, but not a worshiper of the Kennedys. He laughed out loud.

“…not that he didn’t feel remorse…” but… he obviously didn’t, because he never accepted full responsibility, never paid even the penalty that others without his money, family power and influence would have had to pay, and COLLECTED JOKES ABOUT MJK’s DEATH!!!

This cowardly, drunken waste of oxygen died far, far too late.
