Anyone calling water boarding torture is a liar as torture is defined at an action cause severe pain and agony and water boarding does not.

I suppose you can call make a stretch and call it mental torture as it is a scare tactic that can cause severe fear.

I have to remember to tell the next person that yells boo to me that they are torturing me.

I am of the opinion Holder is a friend of terrorist as he is known to have supported pardoning some under the Clinton administration.

This for instance is clearly a political witch hunt as the CIA Employees are Ok since their actions were OK'd by certain legislators including Nancy Peloci as well as by the President.

Next we will hear that those shooting missiles to kill Al Qaeda and Taliban operatives in Pakistan will be charged with murder.

James, can we please cut the faux outrage and BS! Really. The bottom line is we were attacked by ruthless, religious maniacs that will never, ever relent or obey any kind of international law. Yes, we have laws for a reason. Laws are there to protect us. When they tie our hands and get in the way of doing this some people take risks and bend them or even break them. When they get caught, yes, they have to account for this, but you're little world of right and wrong is a tiny one. It isn't so black and white in the real world.

We are fighting a real enemy, and you don't realize it. We do have the right to protect ourselves and if bashing a few heads gets answers to save lives, then the end result justifies the means. Makes sense to me.

William, you assume too much when you say "purely political."

Torture is quite beyond politics, despite the illegal actions of the previous criminal enterprise posing as a presidency.

And people will be going to jail for it. Feel free to think it's political. The jail sentences will be the same.

It's not politics. It's war crimes.

Thanks, James, for making one of our points that this is simply political payback, and not about anything else.

Just remember, Democrats will not have full control of COngress and the White House, so, when we have control, it will be OK to come after Democrats for purely political reasons, right?

Krystal, any excuse to avoid the rule of law, eh? Any excise to torture, any excuse to bankrupt the nation, any excuse to escape responsibility for abject failure.

Prosecutions are coming. Your heros will either go to jail or have their reputations ruined, though that won't take much.

You can call me whatever names you like. Prosecutions are still on the way.

Can I get you some Kleenex?

James:

"Krystal, the U.S. does not have jurisdiction over the “world” so your pleas that the left don Superman outfits to “save the day” do not make any sense."

No, we don't jurisdiction over the world, but idiots like you think you have jurisdiction over the rest of us.

"We do have jurisdiction over our own, and it’s clear our own broke U.S. and international law, abrogated our treaties with other countries, and took our focus off the real targets."

No, Jamie-Boy, it's NOT clear that we did any of the above. Then again, it's perfectly okay with you if OTHER countries break international law, abrogate treaties, and attack us. And, by the way, when did you ever give two s***s about "the real targets" anyway? Hmmmmmmmm?

"Or did we catch bin laden when I wasn’t looking? Oh that’s right. We had to waste generations of blood and treasure in Iraq to sustain the crusader war theme of the previous criminal enterprise posing as a presidency."

Come clean with us: you've never cared about Bin Laden, 9-11, or terrorism in general. I'll willing to bet the farm you think we "had it coming" anyway. As for "criminal enterprises," I guess you forgot about Eric Holder's part in the Clinton pardons affair. Or do you have enough brain cells to remember that far back?

The investigations are coming, like it or not. Which side do you want to be on? Law and Order, or…..?

You're offering an Obama-style false choice, sweet pea. Investigations may be coming...but that doesn't mean they'll result in anything. As for the "side" to which you're referring, you're most assuredly not on the side of the United States.

James - your post makes no sense and states things I never posted. Typical leftist. As for the Nuremburg "smell" test - I dont recall beheadings of innocents, and the mass murder of thousands of Americans as passing any test of humanity. But then atrocities go on throughout the world everyday without a peep from the Left. The only war criminals I know of are those who hide behind terror cells and kill innocents and dont have the guts to fight in a uniform or under a flag nan to man.

Holder had nothing to do with the recommedations. But where do we draw the line in how we conduct ourselves? Do we allow murder? How about dropping some bombs? Previous poster talked about Nuremberg smell tests. Right on!!!
