I can’t judge that, I don’t know enough about their quality of care. But the article seems to focus on costs and I don’t believe their graphs support the point they are trying to convey.

ff11, what your are forgetting about is that the actual quality of care in countries like France, Canada, and Britain are well below the US. People wait long times for service. A significantly higher percentage of people die from breast and colon cancer in those countries than the US.

What the data actually show:

1- They have Universal Health Care, we don’t
2- We pay SIGNIFICANTLY more for our healthcare than they do
3- Costs are skyrocketing for both of us

In reality, we both have much to learn from each other. The best balance is probably somewhere in between, with a Universal Health Care that involves a co-pay.
