It’s getting a little worrisome when evidence suggests Obama and Dems are using the Health Care Bill to payoff ACORN!
The grants are designed to fund groups that will “measure” people’s health-related behavior on the community level, including whether they are gaining or losing weight, eating the right foods, getting exercise, using tobacco, or engaging in other personal behaviors targeted for federal monitoring by the secretary of health and human services.
[...] These grantees will be charged with carrying out a “community transformation plan,” and the targets of their activities will include local schools, infrastructure and restaurants.
The bill specifically directs organizations receiving the grant money that they must “with respect to residents in the community, measure — (i) decreases in weight; (ii) increases in proper nutrition; (iii) increases in physical activity; (iv) decreases in tobacco use prevalence;(v) other factors using community specific data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey; and(vi) other factors as determined by the Secretary.”
If this doesn’t scare the hell out of America, nothing will.

One black conservative was seriously hurt outside the event.
The Post-Dispatch reported:St. Louis County police say six people were arrested. Two of those were arrested on suspicion of assault, one of resisting arrest and three on suspicion of committing peace disturbances. Carnahan was gone when the ruckus started.
Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with “Don’t tread on me” printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack started.
“It just seems there’s no freedom of speech without being attacked,” he said.

To Hell with comparisons to “The Joker”; to some, that would imply “cool’, “funny”, “mischievous”.
He encourages union goons to infiltrate protest rallies and town-hall meetings, and to intimidate and push around old men and ladies for daring to protest the way things are going.
What we are dealing with, in reality, is more akin to a sewer rat.
As for those congressmen who accept this, and use those thugs to keep away their own constituents, those little potentates need a sharp lesson as to whom they are really supposed to be working for. In some cases, RECALL should be on the table and seriously considered.

The top video makes me livid. It’s rich to see a black security guard tell someone that they have to obey the police.
Did that person actually say when a police officer asks you to do something you have to do it? I would have said, no I dont – the President even says that police acted stupidly when Gates resisted. Why are ACORN thugs funded by our tax dollars to harass us? Stop the funding now – how can we do this, who can we pressure? Paid community organizers harassing citizens? This is getting outrageous.
Gotta love what the police officer says in the first video. Directing people away from the videographer, he tells them “go talk to the media.” I guess that would be the MSM media, right?
