AARP has always stood with seniors but now they seem to stand with Obamacare, which seniors reject. What gives? and how do we get AARP to listen to its members? Will it require cancellation by all its current members before they listen to us? Maybe a change in leadership of AARP is needed?

I’ve felt for many years that AARP did not have seniors best interest in mind. I’ve visited other web sites and the language, profanity, anger, although justified is not the way to change the cource of this poor excuse for a government. We need to stay calm and use inteligence to overcome this difficult situation.

As a member of AARP, I do not appreciate your decision to support “Obama-care” when we do not have all the facts (cost, abortion, illegal immigrants, etc.). If this plan is as good as the Dems project – why is it not made public to all Americans so we can intellectually decide if it is good for us! Why aren’t all of our concerns addressed without lies, dubious replies that mislead the American Public. GOVERNMENT SHOULD STAY OUT OF OUR LIVES!!!

I am going to return my AARP membership card and cancel my affiliations with you. You are not looking out for us Seniors. I look forward to a return of my unearned membership dues.

Have the government take care of all frauds that is costing us billions and pass tort reform to alleviate billions of dollars of the medical profession/hospitals incur to defend medical related suits (raising insurance premiums, etc.)

EASY SOLUTION – government should transfer all of the American people (insured and/or uninsured) to their “Cadillac” insurance plans.

Bill HR 3200 is out there. Don’t let them fool you. Everyone (D) is trying to get all bills to roll into it. I am a Tea Party organizer, and I’ve been in this up to my ears. They are all lying.

The Republicans DO have a plan to reform the health insurance problem, but the dems, as usual, have never let it pass.

Three easy proposals.
1. Allow competition between states.
2. Tort reform.
3. HSA’s. Health Savings Accounts.

A fourth one I would much prefer.
4. GET THE GOVT OUT OF THE HEALTHCARE & INS. BUSINESS.

Where does it say in the Constitution that YOU have a right to MY money??? It does not! Grrrr.

Ellie you talk about the insurance execs making big money……….do you know how much money is on the execs at AARP you would be very surprised

Do you kno they get over 700 million dollars a years to promote there advertiser, The Hartfor,,the aarp supplement insurance,Foremost insurance etc etc PLUS all the mony they get for members joining this scum outfit
They lie too you at every chance they can.
They say now they are not any bill at this time, HEY there isn’t any bills out there yet.

I think you are being duped. It is clear to see this group was rude and disrespectful. Insurance co. execs make millions/year with your rising premium rates, and in the meantime your care is being diminished. Sounds more like slavery than freedom to me.
