    BO is using the military to get UBL’s head – that’s it. BO uses everyone and everything for his own political gain. He is shameful.

    I don’t disagree with Newt often. In fact, it’s because I agree with Newt’s later points that I think Obama’s statement is not a mistake.

    You can’t have victory in Afghanistan. You can only have it in Pakistan, because that’s the source of the problem. No mater what you do in Afghanistan, it will be blown unless Pakistan cleans up.

    Newt is dead-on when he cites Obama’s idiocy in campaigning on an “Iraq bad, Afghanistan good” platform. Which boxed 0 into an unwinnable strategic situation from the get-go. But then, that’s the guy’s entire pattern: stupid promises that are all ticking time bombs. Why did you think this would be different?
