Still there is some sign of those opposing the plan speaking up. However the evidence seems to say a number of older people that traditionally vote Republican did not vote last fall. When these guys/gals get back to their districts they will get an EARFUL. By then, the tea parties, RNC and various other groups will be piling on. The longer this takes the worse it becomes. The Demmies will have to use a backup plan to trying to pass this piece-meal...but we'll see about that. I think the rose is off the bloom.
