A district next to the one I have lived in all my life. He has been a fence rider most of his time in office and has been House Republican leader during the slam dunk victories by Democrats the last few years. He seems to always know when to act tough when personal political hay can be made, but saddles up to his Democrat opponents when the bullets are flying. I find it amazing how those "conservatives" who only know what they know about current politics is what they glean from blog sites are anxious to make this guy king of the hill when he is only doing now what he has always done when the opportunity presented itself. Do these democrats and 8 idiot republicans think we won't know they did not read this bill? How could they vote for this unless they are looking for favors. And it would not surprise me to learn that democrats who voted against it will not be fodder for ACORN to come up with money to terrorize them, like the stimulus bill. It has already started in ND. If you have a democrat in your district that voted agisnt the bill, call him up and thank him, so he will hear voices encouraging him, since they will hear plenty of voices against them. even if you are a republican give thema pat on the back for trying to save us from this bill. make sure they know they have support when it gets voted on again. If only this could have been broadcasted instead of the prattle over Michael Jackson, maybe the outcome would have been different.
