Trial lawyers , like John Edwards, sue the pharmacy companies in the name of justice and walk away with sometimes hundreds of millions of dollars in their back pocket. If congress passed a law limitng rewards on FDA approved drugs and proceedures and adapted a loser pays court system I think medical costs to the average Joe would plummet.
