I’m sure there are some moderate ones somewhere, but, still waiting to hear from them. It appears their numbers are about as big as Air America’s audience
Militants opened fire on security guards and rushed a small truck packed with explosives through the gates of a five-star hotel in this northwestern city on Friday, detonating a huge bomb in the parking lot that killed at least 11 people and wounded 55, Pakistani officials said.
Thought one: stop calling them violent, or they’ll kill you.
Thought two: amazingly, the NY Times is calling them militants.
On to those forward looking Muslims in the UAE
Roxanne Hillier was asleep in a room above the dive shop where she worked in the emirate of Sharjah when police broke down the locked door and arrested her.
They claimed she was having an affair with her boss, an Emirati, who was downstairs at the time repairing the shop’s dive equipment. She was also accused of being alone in the same room with him, also technically a crime in Sharjah.
She has now been jailed for three months even thought she agreed to carry out humiliating” medical tests to prove there had been no sexual contact. (snip)
Two British women have been jailed in Dubai already this year for adultery on charges brought by their husbands, in one case also British.
Say, where are all the liberal women’s groups when you need them? Notice they rarely speak out over these issues? Heck, where are the so-called human rights loving liberals as a whole? Beuller? Bueller? Or, is this all just a case of them saying diversity rocks, so they shouldn’t interfere?

Names aren’t really necessary, and making insane connections to our domestic acts of violence against a very disturbing infacidal jerk by a deranged man has nothing to do with Islamic violence. The facts are that the Taliban will kill anyone who disagrees with their version of Islam, and have been doing it. We do want the Pakistani government to take action against the Taliban and any other terrorist group inside their borders, but it is not just for our benefit. The last time I check us Judeo Christians love our children and want them to live long happy and prosperous lives, and do not want them killing their neighbors because they worship differently or not at all. This is why we have not had the type of religious wars that have been fought in Europe and Asia since the beginning of recorded time. Conservative Americans (the so-called right winger) do not want to take away rights from anyone, they just do not believe that some people should get special rights at the expense of others. Pakistan will have to cleanse itself of these violent groups if the people there want to live in peace.
