Obama’s Islamic Roots

Posted on June 2, 2009

Suddenly, as t-shirts of Obama being the new King Tut sale in Egypt, it is no longer taboo to talk of Obama’s Muslim roots! As a matter of fact, now that Obama is apologizing to the world, trying to give Israel to Palestinians, bowing to the Saudi King, and thinking Iran wants nukes for peaceful reasons it has suddenly become hip to speak of his kindred spirit with the people of Islam.

During a conference call in preparation for President Obama’s trip to Cairo, Egypt, where he will address the Muslim world, deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications Denis McDonough said “the President himself experienced Islam on three continents before he was able to — or before he’s been able to visit, really, the heart of the Islamic world — you know, growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father — obviously Muslim Americans (are) a key part of Illinois and Chicago.”…
Since the election, however, with the threat of the rumors at least somewhat abated, the White House has been increasingly forthcoming about the president’s roots. Especially when reaching out to the Muslim world.

In his April 6 address to the Turkish Parliament, President Obama referenced how many “Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim majority country. I know, because I am one of them.”

Allahpundit:

I guess this means the “Hussein” comment that O’Reilly smeared us with last week wasn’t so offensive after all. Ah well. Enjoy talking about it now because, come 2012, it’ll be safely verboten once again.

Now if he would only admit his Marxist roots!

Update: Now Obama says The United States is “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world!??!

“Enjoy talking about it now because, come 2012, it’ll be safely verboten once again.”

To who? I’ll talk about whatever I want. I’ve lost a good deal of “friends” because of Obama, and I don’t regret a single thing that I’ve said.

I’ve got a sawbuck that says in 10 years “Obama” will be used in the same way “epic fail” is used today by the kids. To wit:

    “He’s a complete Obama.”

    “She totally Obamacized the project.”

“Wearing white shoes after Labor Day? That’s soooooo Obama.”

    One more:

“The guy is an idiot. It’s like he got an Obamatomy on his brain.”

Obama’s doing what any good speaker does with a group (in this case, moderate Muslims, whom we need the help of to fight fundamentalist Muslims): talk about any common bond one honestly can. In the quote of his talk in Turkey, he told the truth: he did have a Muslim physical father, and Muslim step-father. He didn’t say he himself was a Muslim. Last I heard, it was his former PASTOR that hurt Obama’s reputation. And he didn’t say Muslims were a majority in the USA, just that he had Muslims in his background. He also went to an Muslim sponsored school in Indonesia briefly. He also had an atheist mother.

Good statement by Obama about Iran. They claim they want nuclear energy, not nuclear weapons, so let’s agree that that is better than another coal plant and verify that they mean what they say. After all, IF they’re telling the truth, then they should be willing to show that’s only what they’re developing. On the other hand, let’s remember that Israel could nuke any country that tried to take away its stolen land to give back to Palestinians or Syrians.

I do not care. It is bad for the image of conservatism to address such nonsense. There are more important things to deal with such as why Obama’s health care plan is a disaster. I only named one but there are far more of the things he is doing that really need to be addressed instead of wasting our time on such nonsense.

Sure Kerwin, but it is also important to point out the flagrant exploitation by the president as well. How he is just another politician, and a shrewd one at that.

Bobw, you don’t find it in the least bit strange that back during the run for office it was off limits not only to talk about his muslim roots, but also to say his middle name, and now it’s ok, because the chosen one needs for it to be ok?
“They claim they want nuclear energy, not nuclear weapons, so let’s agree that that is better than another coal plant and verify that they mean what they say.”

They also claim that the holocaust never happened. Do you know who we’re talking about here?

The American people who voted Obama to the highest office in the world as president of the USA should return to the drawingboard to refresh their minds of the differences between a white man and the total deceit of a muslim or nigger.
