She had all the credentials and was allowed in, so what kind of crazy stunt did she attempt to get treated in such a way? She dared to try delivering a letter to the President urging him to take a stand against gay marriage! How crazy is this woman? Doesn’t she realize the president considers right wing extremists as terrorist threats?
Lee said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press that she wanted to hand Obama a letter urging him “to take a stand for traditional marriage.”
She said she asked a Secret Service agent to give the president her letter, but he refused and referred her to a White House staffer. Lee said she refused to give the staffer the letter.
“I said, ‘I’ll take my chances if (the president) comes by here,’” said Lee, who identified herself as a Roman Catholic priestess who lives in Anaheim, Calif. “He became annoyed that I wouldn’t give him the letter.”
Lee, who was wearing what she described as a cassock, said she protested when she was asked to leave…
Two officers then picked her up and carried her out. An Associated Press photographer photographed the incident.
“I was afraid you could see under my clothes,” she said, her voice choking up.

When will the media wake up? How long will they continue to be dictated to? How could any good reporter sleep at night without asking questions and demanding answers, and holding O’s feet to the fire.
The Chrysler closings alone is raw meat for a good reporter – are they all vegetarians now?
my local newspaper managing editor would not look into the story he basically said that the local Chrysler dealer has not closed yet so it’s not a local story and their National news comes from the AP and the AP has not done a story on it so it is not news! This brought a lot of understanding about why the media all cover the same stories on TV and the newspaper. I tried to get him to have one of his reporters lokk into it or him but I could not get any other answer “The AP has not reported on this so it is not news.. Buglover34465

I think that we all have to come to terms with the fact that the media really isn’t interested in breaking stories or giving real information that matters. We’ve all felt this way for a while, but we have to realize that that’s the truth.
All of those papers feel that they may be in line for a handout soon, and they don’t want to piss off Obama. I wish that I was being sarcastic, but this is pretty much how I feel.
