Sorry to put another pin the GOP's
already tattered cushion, but the
clearly meant evocative, which has
several meanings, one which you
obviously missed when you went to
look it up is "vivid and seemingly
realistic as in the artistic
representation of a particular time,
place, etc.” - dictionary.com. There is
no obligation for it to be historical,
it might just as so be futuristic.
In fact, evoke as a verb is often used
in this way, especially in literature. But
who has time to read these days?
Yet I can see how someone with
your political, economic, international,
and social “philosophy” might
immediately take it for granted that
the current President meant
provocative- "inciting, especially
to anger or sexual desire." But no need to
evoke the former President, his policies,
and his flock, their porn website
subscriptions and the like.

Which is worse: calling the place
in which you reside "my house" as Bush did
on many occasions, or violating
laws established by the United States
and using devious tactics
to strip American citizens of our rights???
Call me illogical and arrogant, but
I'd say the latter.
