Leon Panetta Says Queen Nancy Lied

Most of the media are going with headlines that say something like “CIA director says Pelosi received the truth,” rather then the more truthful and germane “Pelosi lied,” but, since Pelosi is not loved and adored and treated like a rock star or messiah, those headlines are sure to come. The Credentialed Media smells blood in the water, and Leo Panetta is putting some of it there…
CIA Director Leon Panetta challenged House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s accusations that the agency lied to her, writing a memo to his agents saying she received nothing but the truth.
Panetta said that “ultimately, it is up to Congress to evaluate all the evidence and reach its own conclusions about what happened.”
Panetta, President Obama’s pick to run the clandestine agency and President Clinton’s former chief of staff, wrote in a memo to CIA employees Friday that “CIA officers briefed truthfully on the interrogation of Abu Zubaydah, describing ‘the enhanced techniques that had been employed,’” according to CIA records.
Interesting question: Madame Speaker is a take charge wants to know everything type of gal, one of the reasons she is Speaker of the House. If she sent someone to the briefings (I’m kinda wondering why staff flunkies are allowed to attend high security briefings), is there anyone out there who doesn’t think she wrung every single detail from that person afterwards? Perhaps required a written record? There’s an old saying: the easiest story to tell is the one that is the complete truth. It’s not easy to remember which lie you told, and what the details were.
Asked why she didn’t co-sign a formal objection by Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.), who attended the briefing with Pelosi aide Mike Sheehy, Pelosi said any objection would have done little good.
“No letter could change the policy,” she said on May 14 at a news conference. “It was clear we had to change the leadership in Congress and in the White House. That was my job, the Congress part.”
Perhaps not, but it would have shown you objected to the enhanced interrogation techniques, Queen Nancy. So much for standing up for what you (supposedly) believed in, Nancy. Keep spinning. Sooner or later, you will say something that you really wish you could suck back in.
Now, Panetta’s message to the CIA employees called this a distraction, and, he’s right. It does distract a group by calling the whole body liars. But, I wonder when high ranking Democrats, who defend, or have to defend for whatever reason, Pelosi will come out and start calling this whole issue one of those “distractions that keep us from discussing the issues that Americans care about.” Most people do not care about some stone cold al Qaeda members being water boarded 6 years ago. They remember 3,000 dead friends, neighbors, and loved ones. It’s only the hard left that wants to live in the past. And, the past has a way of turning around and biting people in the butt.

Pelosi and Panetta are running the same playbook of good cop, bad cop.
Panetta trying to calm the CIA from running a leak campaign against the democrats and Pelosi playing the victim of the Bush administrations CIA.
The CIA under Bush is the same CIA under Doh!Bama, Panetta is the only difference.

Pelosi carried water for the worst and the nastiest of the Bush haters, with little or no fear of getting caught. Lies and carefully constructed talking points and a compliant, lazy press corps allowed her to stay on her message and drum her lies home, with no one to challenge her.
But overreaching and arrogance has finally caught up with her, and those she carried the water for are leaving her to die in the dust. It should stand as a warning to the rest of them. But it won’t. And they will meet the same fate.
Because they have been spending our time, not working for us, not working for the people, or the country they are supposed to serve – but for the party. They spend their days, their memos, the strategems, working to destroy the other party, their fellow citizens across the aisle
No sympathy for Pelosi. She has earned every barbed thought that comes her way. And they come, not just from people like me, but from people she counted as allies, if not friends – ‘friends’ who now savor her twisting in the wind. Because no one really likes a liar.
What bothers me even more than Pelosi finally being shown for the ultra corrupt individual that she has been all along is the fact that about half the people in this once great country have had their morals corrupted to the point that on most issues they think just like she does! In most instances people get just the kind of government they deserve…Elect people with no morals or honesty or decency and what you get is exactly what you deserve! Socialism is right around the corner in this country unless people stop it in its tracks…
I’m old enough to remember well the Russian Premiere Nikita Krushchev (sic) making that speech back in 1955 or so; saying that He realized that they could never beat us in an out and out war, but that he had every confidence that they would bury us from the inside…ITS COMING TRUE!!! Socialist minded people have worked their way up into the upper echelons of power in our government and are doing everything they can get away with to destroy our capitalist form of government and replace it with one that will be virtually indistinguishable from out and out communism..The name may not be the same, but the ‘game’ sure is!!! Our younger citizens need to be made well aware of what these people are up to and encouraged to stand and fight before its too late…
