Obama On National Prayer Day: No Thanks
Posted on May 7, 2009
Apparently, President Neophyte, who has stated that he believes in the “power of prayer” and “felt a beckoning of the spirit and accepted Jesus Christ into his life,” is actually closer to a belief that people of religion are bitter clingers, as he decides to blow off the National Prayer Day
President Obama is distancing himself from the National Day of Prayer by nixing a formal early morning service and not attending a large Catholic prayer breakfast the next morning.
All Mr. Obama will do for the National Day of Prayer, which is Thursday, is sign a proclamation honoring the day, which originated in 1952 when Congress set aside the first Thursday in May for the observance.
The National Day of Prayer goes all the way back to 1775, was temporarily ended at the end of the Revolution, and then was re-established in 1795, while George Washington was president. But, now that President Obama doesn’t need to fake any belief to get elected (anyone want to bet that he starts attending a church in 2011?) and he can’t attend a bigoted, separatist, hard left church, well, he is taking that position to say “screw you” to tradition and religious folk.
For the past eight years, President George W. Bush invited selected Christian and Jewish leaders to the White House East Room, where he typically would give a short speech and several leaders offered prayers.
Obama White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Tuesday that the president is simply reverting back to pre-Bush administration practice.
Really? Clinton observed it. So did Bush 41, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, LBJ, Kennedy, and pretty much most of the presidents going back to George Washington (note: kinda hard to find info on all the presidents.) While Dubya made the day more formal every year then the others, they at least acknowledged it. Obama won’t even pay lip service.
Now, Gibbs stated, between um’s and ah’s, that Obama prays privately everyday. Well, he sure doesn’t seem to be doing it in a church anymore, except for Easter. I guess it is too much for Obama to act like the president of the United States, rather the the President of the Progressive Movement.
“For those of us who have our doubts about Obama’s faith, no, we did not expect him to have the service,” said Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America. “But as president, he should put his own lack of faith aside and live up to the office.”
Well, he doesn’t consider us a “Christian nation,” you know.
Do not look forward to what may happen
tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares
for you today will take care of you tomorrow and
every day. Either He will shield you from suffering,
or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and
imaginations, and say continually: “The Lord is my
strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him
and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me,
and I in Him.”

If the day had something to do with honouring Islam, he would attend. He is not Christian – he only attended church to make contacts.
Of course it is for God to determine, but I have not seen the ‘fruits’ on Christianity in this man.
His answer to the question ‘what is sin’?
He answered, “Being out of alignment with my values.” (Based on this answer, I’d say he either has a god complex, or doesn’t have a clue what God says about sin).
We should not be shocked or surprised by Obama’s decision to pray in private on National Prayer Day. He doesn’t want anyone knowing or seeing him pray to Lucifer, his true God! I pray that the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit will Bless America and all believers as we head into the End Times Prophecy. Obama is dishonest, hiding his true faith, his birthplace, his associations and his true agenda. Wake up people, don’t be fooled by this man! Does the phrase “Anti-Christ” scare anybody? It should. Too many people are falling under Obama’s spell as he weakens our Nations defenses, allows terrorists to live among us, and tries to make us lose our faith in The Lord Our GOD! Please wake up before it is too late!
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Wanna bet he celebrates the Muslim Holy Days! This guy is anti AMerican and the fools that voted him in should be forced to live under his rules while the rest of us go back to the freedom granted to us by God and protected by the US Constitution.
I think there’s a Higher Authority on the issue:
Pray in secret
When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
–excerpt from the Sermon on the Mount
And when something like 911 happens, then people begin to question why God allowed these things to occur; I tell you why:
We removed prayer from schools, we have the highest abortion rate in the world, we want to remove every reference of God from all the public places, and we called Good things bad and bad things Good. But God in His sovereign ways will not force in to us His will but rather will let us make our own choices. It is evident that as a nation we decided to remove God from our lives. As a result of these choices, He is no longer present in this nation and in our lives to protect us from the one who wants to destroy us. A nation without God is a nation in serious trouble and ultimately in a path for judgment.
I pray that God will have mercy on this nation, as this could very well be the end of the many blessings we have received over the history of this nation and the beginning to the doom days ahead.
Did Jesus command everyone to close down the churches and pray to the Father only in secret?
Is this not a day of prayer for America? It is perhaps a message to others of like mind, just as the Message rang louder than any words, when everyone put their hand across their chest in the pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America and Obama didn’t. Don’t think about that picture.
Why have a National Day of Prayer?
Aren’t you suppose to pray everyday?
And don’t we have seperation between church and state?
Who cares if was Muslim eventhough he is not?
Didn’t Jesus teach us not to Judge and not to hate. He taught us to love one another, even your enemies. And even Republicans, oh wait…that’s you.
Perhaps, you might be served by the Spirit, if you are led to do a topical study on Righteous Judgment. Sorry – can’t eliminate that word Righteous Judgment.
You will know them by their fruits. (Gods Word)Hint-Righteous judgement.
Cesar…GET A GRIP! The Sermon on the Mount clearly indicates how Christians should pray, and it says nothing about praying in schools, or at public events. It’s not how you or I or any single person feels about it; it’s
Continued: It’s about what Jesus said about it, and I refer you to the Scripture quoted above.
My quote for the day for National Prayer Day
Matthew 6:5-6 (New International Version)
“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
I’m tired of hypocritical politicians using public prayer to claim that they have Jesus’s endorsement. You’d never get away with running around using Oprah’s name like that without her permission.
Perhaps, you sarcasm can be left out of topic concerning the word of God. Your error is that you have not studied the Whole Word of God because if you had- You would learn that Jesus elaborates by using the term Hypocrite, when he said, Why do you behold the mote in your brothers eye – while you have a log in your own eye? First remove the log out of your own eye in order to help your brother. I’m sure even carnally minded people can conclude that is not an indication that we are not to judge but to judge righteously and those who think that we are not to judge at all, worship the human temple rather than the God who created them. My advice is for you to study.
As for praying, “Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” {Matt 18:18-20 RSV}
Again, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, both in this age and in the age which is to come, and God has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things, for the church which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. {cf, Eph 1:21-23 RSV}
Fellowship is key, wouldn’t you say?
“The Sermon on the Mount clearly indicates how Christians should pray, and it says nothing about praying in schools, or at public events. It’s not how you or I or any single person feels about it; it’s”
Viewer: you are correct, it doesn’t defined where to pray so Instead I will rather reference you to a scripture in 1 Thessalonian 5:16-18
16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
I suppose we should pray at all times no matter where you are.
It’s not about any temple or place and as Jesus said, there is coming a time when you shall not worship in this temple or that temple but in Spirit and in Truth. The true church is the body – US.
Please someone get this person a bandage!
Obamessiah is The Only One in his own mind….
I will opt to pray for this person …. that the person will be convicted by the truth and that the truth will set the person free.
I will also.
If Obama was a Christian, he would be proud to attend.
He was raised a Muslim and still is. He is also a communist. Read the Communist Manafesto. He is in lock step with it. That means he will tell us what we want to hear and do what he wants, which is lie about anything that he needs to lie about to get what he wants. He has demonstrated that from day one and is still doing it.
I agree with another bloger. If this was a day for Muslims, he would be there, but he would really make a liar of himself because he claims to be Christain. His actions prove differently. I still don’t thing he is a citizen, but a fraud. His is a dictator and the democrats are his cabinet. They vote for anything that he wants.
Fellowship
Hebrews 10:24-25: And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love
and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing,
but let us encourage one another — and all the more so as you see the Day approaching
Romans 12:4-5: Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these
members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one
body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Acts 2:41-47: Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand
were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching
and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with
awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the
believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and
goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together
in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and
sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord
added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Dontcha know we have a seperation of church and state? It’s right in the Constitution! Right next to abortion rights and hate crime special treatment.

My point, and the point of Matthew 6:5-6 is that public prayer for the purpose of displaying one’s righteousness is hypocritical. Joining in fellowship is not the same thing as hiring a PR team, setting up the cameras and acting as if you are Jesus’s official spokesman on earth.
It’s about time a President came along who has the humility not to attempt to use his faith to advance his political objectives.
I think is is very dubious that Obama has chosen to do what he has. He is someone who is not who he says he is. I find it alarming.
Shame on him. How about the fly over on NYC.
Does anyone really believe he knew nothing about that? That was incredible! We need to pray like crazy for the truth!
“As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion…” Treaty of Tripoli, ratified unanimously by the United States congess and signed into law by president John Adams June 10th, 1797
“Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man & his god, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.” Letter to the Danbury Baptists, Thomas Jefferson, January 1st, 1802
From the national day of prayer website:
Huh. Not vey inclusive is it? Nothing for the Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist or any of the other multitudes of faiths practiced in this country. And of course the chairperson of the NDOP is one Shirley Dobson, wife of the James Dobson, the poster child for intolerance.
No president should particpate in this event as long as the agenda is controlled by radical Christian extremists commonly known as social conservatives.
Perhaps the first problem is to pass this off as an official document which it is not! Secondly, you have distorted terribly Jeffersons intent. It’s not the state that needs to be protected but the church from government. Perverse distortion!
Wow! I can’t believe everything I am reading and all because we want to have the liberty of praying in public. May the Lord have mercy of us. I am not a Republican or Democrat, but rather someone that believes in Jesus!
The day serves to highlight the need for intercessory prayer every day for our nation’s leaders and their families. Too often Americans whine about change for our nation yet are unwilling to bring the most powerful tool they process into action – prayer.
We have seen many examples (in newspaper and Internet article headlines) of the transforming power of corporate prayer. Communities have dramatically lowered crime, suicide, unemployment and drug usage in examples where only prayer could be pointed to as the agent of change. That’s the power of when two are more are gathered in his name. It’s not the same as the hypocrites praying in public in a statement “Look at me, I’m praying, I’m important”. Don’t take Matthew 6 out of context.
Millions of Americans now participate in the National Day of Prayer each year (1st Thursday in May). Last May 1st, tens of thousands of prayer gatherings were held, covering every state. “Day of Prayer” declarations were made from the President of the United States and all 50 governors. Prayer observances were held in 110 federal prisons, YMCAs, national monuments, Indian reservations, military bases, stadiums, nursing homes, airliners crossing our nation, schools, town halls, in the Senate and Congressional chambers of many state capitols, and overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq. In addition to these public activities, people gathered to pray in their homes, churches, and other private places. PrayerFlight, a group of Ohio-based private pilots, organized “50 Capitols” where pilots and their passengers prayed as they flew over each respective capitol. They will fly again this year.
You can find info on events, resources and prayer at http://www.nationaldayofprayer.org.
Bottom line it is the intention of this present regime to destroy the Christian faith and after all if you do believe in the sanctity of human life, etc., etc., your a possible terrorists. Power without a balance of compassion and we got the incarnation of Hitler all over again.
This statement is an absolute falsehood.
It’s also the garbage preached by the “official historian” of the religious right David Barton. His research is sound but his conclusions are completely asinine.
In 1775 the Loyalists in New York petitioned the kind of England to appoint Anglican bishops as governors of each of the 13 colonies. A meeting of the Continental Congress was hastily called and the document that resulted from that meeting was the Declaration of Independence.
That absolutely lays to waste the garbage argument that “it’s not the state that needs to be protected from the church.”
How illogical considering that 56 of the founding fathers had seminary degrees and now they pass laws to quell their own freedom of speech society? It’s okay to say Alla but unlawful to say Jesus. Please miss me with that.
Actually many of the founding fathers were deists, and a number of those may well have been atheists had Darwin lived 100 years earlier. And at the time the Declaration of Independence was signed just 17% of the American population attended church on a regular basis.
Obama, whom I did not vote for and do not support, is in fact an evangelical Christian.
Susan Eisenhower, daughter of Dwight, spoke for many of us former Republicans last year when she said “I can no longer be party of a party that puts abortion before the economy as an issue.”
Correction, it was 27 of 56 founding fathers who had seminary degrees and which I find it illogical to assume they where deists
Exactly where are the words in the Bill of Right the Declaration of independence is the coined term “Separation of church and State?

The War on Religion
by Rep. Ron Paul, MD
by Rep. Ron Paul, MD
As we celebrate another Yuletide season, it’s hard not to notice that Christmas in America simply doesn’t feel the same anymore. Although an overwhelming majority of Americans celebrate Christmas, and those who don’t celebrate it overwhelmingly accept and respect our nation’s Christmas traditions, a certain shared public sentiment slowly has disappeared. The Christmas spirit, marked by a wonderful feeling of goodwill among men, is in danger of being lost in the ongoing war against religion.
Through perverse court decisions and years of cultural indoctrination, the elitist, secular Left has managed to convince many in our nation that religion must be driven from public view. The justification is always that someone, somewhere, might possibly be offended or feel uncomfortable living in the midst of a largely Christian society, so all must yield to the fragile sensibilities of the few. The ultimate goal of the anti-religious elites is to transform America into a completely secular nation, a nation that is legally and culturally biased against Christianity.
This growing bias explains why many of our wonderful Christmas traditions have been lost. Christmas pageants and plays, including Handel’s Messiah, have been banned from schools and community halls. Nativity scenes have been ordered removed from town squares, and even criticized as offensive when placed on private church lawns. Office Christmas parties have become taboo, replaced by colorless seasonal parties to ensure no employees feel threatened by a “hostile environment.” Even wholly non-religious decorations featuring Santa Claus, snowmen, and the like have been called into question as Christmas symbols that might cause discomfort. Earlier this month, firemen near Chicago reluctantly removed Christmas decorations from their firehouse after a complaint by some embittered busybody. Most noticeably, however, the once commonplace refrain of “Merry Christmas” has been replaced by the vague, ubiquitous “Happy Holidays.” But what holiday? Is Christmas some kind of secret, a word that cannot be uttered in public? Why have we allowed the secularists to intimidate us into downplaying our most cherished and meaningful Christian celebration?
The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers. On the contrary, our Founders’ political views were strongly informed by their religious beliefs. Certainly the drafters of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, both replete with references to God, would be aghast at the federal government’s hostility to religion. The establishment clause of the First Amendment was simply intended to forbid the creation of an official state church like the Church of England, not to drive religion out of public life.
The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance. Throughout our nation’s history, churches have done what no government can ever do, namely teach morality and civility. Moral and civil individuals are largely governed by their own sense of right and wrong, and hence have little need for external government. This is the real reason the collectivist Left hates religion: Churches as institutions compete with the state for the people’s allegiance, and many devout people put their faith in God before their faith in the state. Knowing this, the secularists wage an ongoing war against religion, chipping away bit by bit at our nation’s Christian heritage. Christmas itself may soon be a casualty of that war.

The relevant clause is in the 1st Amendment to the Constitution, the Establishment clause, which states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”
The genesis of clauses most likely dates back to June 20th, 1785 when James Madison presented his brilliant “Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessments” to the Virginia Legislature. He wrote this because there was legislation afloat that would have taxed citizens to pay salaries of the clergy. Madison’s “Remonstrance” is online and can easily be Googled.
Some have correctly noted that certain forms of public prayer (those tied to the celebration of the Body and Blood, “do this as a commemoration of me”) are prescribed in the New Testament.
However, the fact remains that none of these do anything to negate the value of personal and private prayer, the only kind directly and personally prescribed by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew.
Both are right to do. So clearly, the President has done nothing wrong to accord preference to one of those approaches (i.e. the private one.)
Benjamin Franklin, “I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — God Governs in the Affairs of Men, And if a Sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, Is it possible that an empire can rise without His aid?
“Except the Lord build the house, They labor in vain who build it.” “I firmly believe this.” Benjamin Franklin, June 28, 1787 Constitutional Convention
James Wilson, “Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of that law which is divine….Far from being rivals or enemies, religion and law are twin sisters, friends, and mutual assistants. Indeed, these two sciences run into each other.”James Wilson, a signer of the Constitution and an original Justice on the U.S. Supreme Co
William Samuel Johnson, Episcopalian, son of Anglican (Episcopalian) minister Samuel Johnson and president of Columbia University from 1787-1800. In his remarks to the first graduating class at Columbia after the War for Independence he said:
“You this day, gentlemen, assume new characters, enter into new relations, and consequently incur new duties. You have, by the favor of Providence and the attention of your friends, received a public education, the purpose whereof hath been to qualify you the better to serve your Creator and your country….”
“Your first great duties, you are sensible, are those you owe to Heaven, to your Creator and Redeemer. Let these be ever present to your minds, and exemplified in your lives and conduct.”
“Imprint deep upon your minds the principles of piety towards God, and a reverence and fear of His holy name. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and its consummation is everlasting felicity. Possess yourselves of just and elevated notions of the Divine character, attributes, and administration, and of the end and dignity of your own immortal nature as it stands related to Him.”
“Reflect deeply and often upon those relations. Remember that it is in God you live and move and have your being, – that in the language of David He is about your bed and about your path and spieth out all your ways, – that there is not a thought in your hearts, nor a word upon your tongues, but lo! He knoweth them altogether, and that he will one day call you to a strict account for all your conduct in this mortal life.”
“Remember, too, that you are the redeemed of the Lord, that you are bought with a price, even the inestimable price of the precious blood of the Son of God. Adore Jehovah, therefore, as your God and your Judge. Love, fear, and serve Him as your Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier. Acquaint yourselves with Him in His word and holy ordinances.”
“Make Him your friend and protector and your felicity is secured both here and hereafter. And with respect to particular duties to Him, it is your happiness that you are well assured that he best serves his Maker, who does most good to his country and to mankind.”
Roger Sherman, a Congregationalist, was the only Founder to sign the Articles of Association, the Declaration, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution. He was a member of the committee that drafted the Declaration and the First Amendment. He also drafted the creed of the White Haven Congregationalist church, which he attended. Sherman, John Adams, and George Wythe drafted the instructions to American embassy to Roman Catholic Canada in 1776, which said:
“You are further to declare that we hold sacred the rights of conscience, and may promise to the whole people, solemnly in our name, the free and undisturbed exercise of their religion. And…that all civil rights and the right to hold office were to be extended to persons of any Christian denomination.”
Nathaniel Gorham, a Congregationalist, helped write the Massachusett’s Constitution, which required:
“Any person chosen governor, or lieutenant-governor, cousellor, senator, or representative, and accepting the trust, shall before he proceed to execute the duties of his place or office, take, make, and subscribe the following declaration, viz. ‘I, ____, do declare, that I believe the Christian religion, and have a firm persuasion of its truth.’”
Such a religious test was Constitutional until 1947 when the Supreme Court rewrote the Constitution by making the First Amendment apply to the states, not just the federal government.
n 1776 William Blount, a Presbyterian, helped draft the Tennessee Constitution which said:
Article VIII, Section II: No person who denies the being of God, or a future state of rewards and punishments, shall hold any office in the civil department of this State.
Article XI, Section IV: That no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under this State.
The quotation shows the Founders did not consider a belief in God to be a “religious test,” which in the history of England in the century before our Constitution meant allegiance to a particular denomination.
Equally important, modern political scientists now understand that man’s rights arise from the prohibition’s of God’s moral rules, and the branch of modern mathematics known as Game Theory has now proven that it is not rational to follow God’s rules unless one believes in a God who can see into the hearts and in the existence of eternal rewards and punishments. Evidently our Founders understood these ideas innately, though our own science has only recently been able to demonstrate them rigorously.

Thomas Jefferson believed very strongly in the teachings of Jesus Christ. However he took a dim view of the remainder of the New Testament; at one point he opined that it was written by “inferior minds.” So Jefferson went through the Bible and cut out all the teachings of Jesus Christ and pitched the rest in the trash. It (the Jefferson Bible) is widely available today.
Jefferson also absolutely despised and detested organized religion. What would he think of these conservative evangelical mega-churches of today, these bastions of fundementalist extremism? Nothing good certainly. And what would the Danbury Baptists of the early 1800s think about the current incarnation of the Southern Baptist churc of today, and it’s leaders such as that fetid cockroach Richard Land? No doubt it would be an even harsher critique.
Which religion in particular did Jefferson (and the rest of the Founders) despise, Mr. Richmond? And why?
Lobo
Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise. In this sense and to this extent, our civilizations and our institutions are emphatically Christian. Richmond v. Moore, Illinois Supreme Court, 1883)
Why is it that, next to the birth day of the Saviour of the World, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day [July 4th]? . . . Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birth-day of the Saviour? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the gospel dispensation? Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer’s mission upon earth? That it laid the corner stone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity (John Quincy Adams 1837)
Justice David J. Brewer, author of the 1892 Holy Trinity opinion, also wrote a book in 1905 called The United States: A Christian Nation. Brewer opened his work with these words: “We classify nations in various ways. As, for instance, by their form of government. One is a kingdom, another an empire, and still another a republic. Also by race. Great Britain is an Anglo-Saxon nation, France a Gallic, Germany a Teutonic, Russia a Slav. And still again by religion. One is a Mohammedan nation, others are heathen, and still others are Christian nations. This republic is classified among the Christian nations of the world. It was so formally declared by the Supreme Court of the United States. But in what sense can it be called a Christian nation? Not in the sense that Christianity is the established religion or that the people are in any manner compelled to support it. On the contrary, the Constitution specifically provides that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Neither is it Christian in the sense that all its citizens are either in fact or name Christians. On the contrary, all religions have free scope within our borders. Numbers of our people profess other religions, and many reject all. Nor is it Christian in the sense that a profession of Christianity is a condition of holding office or otherwise engaging in the public service, or essential to recognition either politically or socially. In fact the government as a legal organization is independent of all religions. Nevertheless, we constantly speak of this republic as a Christian nation-in fact, as the leading Christian nation of the world.” David J. Brewer, The United States A Christian Nation (Philadelphia: John C. Winston Company, 1905), pp. 11-12.
Waiving the rights of conscience, not included in the surrender implied by the social state, & more or less invaded by all Religious establishments, the simple question to be decided, is whether a support of the best & purest religion, the Christian religion itself ought not, so far at least as pecuniary means are involved, to be provided for by the Government, rather than be left to the voluntary provisions of those who profess it
note that Madison declares the Christian religion the best and purist!
Whatever may have been the private sentiments of Mr. Madison on the subject of religion, he was never known to declare any hostility to it. He always treated it with respect, attended public worship in his neighborhood, invited ministers of religion to his house, had family prayers on such occasions,-though he did not kneel himself at prayers. Episcopal ministers often went there to see his aged and pious mother and administer the Holy Communion to her. I was never at Mr. Madison’s but once, and then our conversation took such a turn-though not designed on my part-as to call forth some expressions and arguments which left the impression on my mind that his creed was not strictly regulated by the Bible. At his death, some years after this, his minister-the Rev. Mr. Jones-and some of his neighbors openly expressed their conviction, that, from his conversation and bearing during the latter years of his life, he must be considered as receiving the Christian system to be divine. (Bishop Meade’s analysis of Virginian families and churches.)
I wonder how much it would have hurt to gather and pray for American prosperity? For wisdom and justice. For families and communities. I wonder how bad it would have been for the leader of this great country to pray and ask the Creator and Provider of all we have for favor?
I think we all agree that it would have, if anything, shown the God of our country that we seek his direction. We ALL know too well, via history, what happens when great empires become proud. I wonder if the great leaders of Rome and Egypt denied God his glory before they fell?
Have we become so so arrogant and blind that our own wisdom is affected? How can asking for blessings be a bad thing?

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world will pass away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of The Only True GOD will abide for ever.” (I John 2:15-17)
“If you were of the world, the world would love it’s own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his Master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.” (John 15:19-20)
“Where do wars and fighting among you come from? Do they not come of your lusts that war in your members? You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war yet you have not, because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts. You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is to be at enmity with The Only True GOD? Therefore whoever will be a friend of the world is the enemy of The Only True GOD.” (James 4:1-4)
“The world cannot hate you; but the world hates Me, because I testify that the works of this world are evil.” (John 7:7)” and “The Messiah gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of The Only True God, Our Father.”(Gal 1:4)
The Messiah testified: “If the world hates you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”(John 5:18) Truly, Truly, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die it brings forth much fruit. He that loves his life in this world shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall have it unto life eternal.” (John 12:24-25)
John testified: “Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hates you.” (I John 3:13) “ James testified, “Whoever would be a friend of this world is the enemy of GOD”(James 4:4)
The “earth and it’s life forms” are The Creation of The Only True GOD, Father of ALL! The “worldly” systems are the creation of, and under the dominion of “the god of this world”, he who is “the father of lies”, he who “has blinded the minds of those who believe not The Messiah”! All the nations of this world are under the dominion of, and serve, the evil one for he provides the fuel that feeds mankind’s “imag”ination, and mankind’s “imagination is destroying and perverting Creation(land, air, water, vegetation, creatures, Light, Truth, Life, Love, Peace, Faith, Simplicity, .etc.) ;-(
Once again, the “earth and it’s life forms” are The Creation of The Only True GOD, Father of ALL! The current “worldly” systems are the creation of, and under the dominion of “the god of this world”.
Those who “love this world” all serve “the god of this world”, and play their part in the processes that seek to destroy The Creation of The Only True GOD. “And The Only True GOD will destroy them who destroy the earth.” (Rev 11:18c)
Global warming, polluted air, land and waters, toxic wastes, sexual perversion, evil inventions of destruction, greed, hate, carnal warfare, dis-ease ,,,etc,,, are all destructive processes that have their root in “the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life”.
The Truth Is Alive in those who have been born of The Spirit for “they no longer love this wicked, evil world and it’s things, nor do they love their own lives in this world”.
They but seek and desire The Will of GOD, their Father and Creator, as they await their final transformation. “Corruptible to Incorruptible” ndeed and Truth!
Now “the ground was cursed for Adam’s sake” because he “hearkened unto the woman”.
Adam listened to a woman rather than obeying The Only True GOD. Yet because of Faithful Noah, The Only True GOD “no longer would curse the ground for man’s sake” because Noah obeyed The Only True GOD! (Genesis 8:21-22)
And the Faithful today are exhorted to “love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.”
Be not of those who deny and defy “The One GOD, Father of All”. Be not of those who are destroying and perverting the earth(land, air, water, vegetation, creatures) and perverting that which is Spirit(Light, Truth, Life, Love, Peace, Hope, Mercy, Faith, .etc.)!
“Set your affections on things above”. Desire heavenly, eternal things. Quit serving ‘time’ in the prison that is this world and take heed unto The Call of “The Only True GOD” to ”Come Out of her, MY people!”
“Come out” from among those who are destroying and perverting Creation and be of those who follow The Messiah on “The Way to The Truth of The Life”.
“Come out” of the worldly systems, which are the product of mankind’s “imag”ination, especially the systems of religion. “Pure religion and undefiled before GOD The Father is this, to visit the fatherless(those who know not their Father[Creator]) and widows(those who have not experienced The Messiah and The Power that raised Him from among the dead”) in their affliction and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the world.” (James 1:27)
Simply, all other religions are impure, defiled and of this wicked, evil world!
Faith will not create a system of religion!
Peace, in spite of the dis-ease(no-peace) that is of this world and it’s systems of religion, for “the WHOLE world is under the control of the evil one” indeed and Truth…….
Truth is never ending…….
How many times is God mentioned in the United States Constitution? Let’s see here…oh that would be none. As in zero. Zip. Nada. Not a single mention. And that was not by accident. Our founders looked to men,and later women, of strong moral character, often defined by their religious beliefs, to guide our intentionally secular government.
Though Obama did not attend the NDOP activities himself the White House was nonetheless invited to send a representative. However that invitation was conditional; the representative had to be anti-choice. What a crock, James Dobson setting conditions on who could celebrate religion. But that’s what the religious right, which is neither, is all about. Christianity on their terms only and anybody who doesn’t agree is part of the vast left wing conspiracy, a soldier in the war on Christianity, blah blah blah you know the rest.
Why would anybody want to live in a religious state anyway? That’s what Iran is all about and it’s ugly. That’s what the Taliban is striving for and it’s even uglier. On the Christian side? If you review the history of theocracies throughout the years you’ll not find a single one that wasn’t as corrupt as they come. Heck that’s why early American settlers fled Europe.
But our country was not founded on the Constitution, which is the second most important document in American history. It was founded on the Declaration of Independence. God makes an appearance in the first sentence. In the second sentence we are assured of our intrinsic (unalienable) rights “endowed by our Creator.”
The Constitution, which came along 11 years after the Declaration, is the foundation for the government and its laws and protects your extrinsic (civil) rights. The Declaration is the foundation for the nation and concerns itself with your higher-order God-given rights. The language is quite clear. It’s good, inspired reading.
Anyone who has a problem with all this kindly take it up with the founding fathers. I didn’t write the thing, just still marvel at those who did.
The text of the Mayflower Compact
” In the name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord, King James, by the Grace of God, of England, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, e&. Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honour of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia; do by these presents, solemnly and mutually in the Presence of God and one of another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid; And by Virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions and Offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the General good of the Colony; unto which we promise all due submission and obedience. In Witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed our names at Cape Cod the eleventh of November, in the Reign of our Sovereign Lord, King James of England, France and Ireland, the eighteenth, and of Scotland the fifty-fourth. Anno Domini, 1620.”
Well good gosh I’m sold! I think we should have morality dictated to us by our elected leaders!
Who should we call upon to interpret the Bible and help us set sail on the road to eternity? Here are a few ideas.
Let’s start with Newt Gingrich, the guy that divorced his wife while she was being treated for cancer and who has had more affairs than I had fingers and toes. Should he interpret the Good Book for us? Or how ’bout that oh-so-devote family man and “good Christian” David Vitter, who has been in every whorehouse from New Orleans to the Texas border? Fortunately his wife forgave him and he’s been cured of his whore addiction! Or perhaps some whacked out nutjob like Cynthia McKinney? Or the wicked witch of the west Nancy Pelosi?
Or maybe Americans are perfectly able, with the assistance of their parents and pastors, to mold their own moral character and the government should stay out of the religion business – just as the founding fathers intended.
First clue. Jesus said, I have come to set the captives free. The problem is, your in prison and how shall you escape – if you think your free? Now, bite your finger and your eating your guru alive. After all Jim, all you ever see is Your Own desires. Look in the mirror – there’s no one home. Have a nice life and if not change you head. It’s as simple as that.
Oh we’re taking the debate into the gutter now and resorting to personal attacks eh? Please don’t do that, it’s for the intellectually inferior and you’re better than that.
“Fasting and prayer are religious exercises. The enjoying them an act of discipline. Every religious society has a right to determine for itself the times for these exercises, and the objects proper for them, according to their own particular tenants; and this right can never be safer than in their own hands, where the Constitution has deposited it.” – Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson: March 4, 1805, offered A National Prayer for Peace: “Almighty God, Who has given us this good land for our heritage. We humbly beseech Thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of Thy favor and glad to do Thy will. Bless our land with honorable ministry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion, from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitude brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endow with Thy spirit of wisdom those to whom in Thy Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that through obedience to Thy law, we may show forth Thy praise among the nations of the earth. In time of prosperity fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust to fail; all of which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.”

Correction Jim, it is a condition of man after the fall. The handwriting is always on the wall, the question is can you see it?
Some of these liberals that are quoting Matthew. Are you aware it’s not just the president supposedly praying by himself. The President is in the process of removing the United States Chaplain from the White House. He is in the process of removing God entirely if he succeeds with the Chaplain. It has nothing to do of what he as the president does. But trying to force his non-christian views on this country. Also, with Hawaii now pushing through the legislature for a Islam Day on Sept. 24, 2009 makes me sick and it passed the Senate. Can you believe this. We as Americans are supposed to support a Islam Day. Does anyone remember 9/11 or remember what Islams and the Koran stands for. At this rate this country is going to be in a revolution sooner than anyone thought.
Acts 2:16-21
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Matthew 24:10-12
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, {unto him: or, around him}
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2 Timothy 4:1
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Obama is in fact an evangelical Christian. Apparently not your type of evangelical Christian but an evangelical Christian nonetheless.
“Witness the fetid cockroach that is James Dobson. Multiply his insanity by access to real power and the result is Sharia law.”
“Guard against those men who make a great noise about religion in choosing representatives. It is electioneering intrigue. If they knew the nature and worth of religion, they would not debauch it to such shameful purposes. If pure religion is the criterion to denominate candidates, those who make a noise about it must be rejected; for their wrangle about it proves that they are void of it. Let honesty, talents and quick dispatch characterize the men of your choice.” John Leland, influential Baptist minister from Massachusetts, 1804

“Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation , to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”
“The Americans are the first people whom Heaven has favored with an opportunity of deliberating upon and choosing the forms of government under which they should live.” – John Jay
“When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public officers, let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers, “just men who will rule in the fear of God.” The preservation of government depends on the faithful discharge of this duty; if the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made, not for the public good so much as for selfish or local purposes; corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be sqandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded. If a republican government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws.” – Noah Webster

From my vantage point, presuppositions are not meant to be portrayed as facts. That’s only done in advertising and sales. No sale here!
Note: The Noah Webster quote was added by poster under May 9th, 2009 11:42 am which is misleading not only in terms of when it was posted but also in respect to my response. It should come after my response and under May 10th I believe.

Also the John Jay quote. I find this interesting.
Gallup conducted a poll back in February in which they asked about 1,100 Americans if they believe in Darwin’s theory of evolution. 39% said they do; 25% said they don’t due to their religious beliefs; 35% had no opinion because they have absolutely no clue as to who Darwin was or what his theory is. And naturally there is a very high correlation between advanced education and belief in Darwin’s theory.
Welcome to America – the land of the free and the home of the incredibly feeble minded.
Perhaps some day the American form of government will be a Christian theocracy. But it is incredibly naive to think that will happen without millions and millions of gallons of blood being spilled.
The sooner this country gets rid of the National day of Prayer, the better. The relligious right nutjobs are finding out they don’t have the influence on Obama that they had on Bush and their knickers are all in a bunch about it. You wanna pray? Go to your churches and your closets, just shut up about it in the public square. Obama is leading the country in the right direction; his second term should be really, really interesting. mizlee at aoldot com
Barack Obama said, “I have never been a Muslim,” but in his book he states that he got into trouble for making faces in Quran class.
According to Tine Hahiyary, one of Obama’s teachers and the principal from 1971 through 1989, Barry actively took part in the Islamic religious lessons during his time at the school. ‘I remembered that he had studied ‘mengaji’ (recitation of the Quran)’ Tine said.
On February 27, 2008, speaking to Nicholas Kristof, and published in The New York Times, Barack Hussein Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is ‘one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.’ Then Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Adhan, ‘with a first-class [Arabic] accent.’
The opening lines of the Adhan (Azaan) is the Shahada:
‘Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet….’
“According to Islamic scholars, reciting the Shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith, makes one a Muslim. This simple yet profound statement expresses a Muslim’s complete acceptance of, and total commitment to, the message of Islam. Obama chanted it with pride and finesse.”
At one campaign stop, Obama said that his mother was in heaven despite her atheism and outright rejection of Christ. While speaking at a town hall forum in North Carolina on March 26, 2008 he said his late mother was “not a believer.” He continued, “But she was the kindest, most decent, generous person that I have ever known. I’m sure she is in heaven, even though she may not have subscribed to everything that I subscribe to.”
“There are many paths to the same place.” – Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; and no one comes to God, the Father, except through me.” (John 14:6)
At Rick Warren’s forum, Obama said, not very convincingly, that he is a Christian and that he believes Jesus died for his sins. Big deal. The bible says that even the demons believe and tremble, but that doesn’t mean they are saved. Yes, Jesus died for every person ever born, but by not receiving him into their lives and following him, they are rejecting the Lord. The woman pastor that was hired to teach him God-speak has coached him well; he didn’t offend any group.
Those who fit the definition of a Christian (above) are also referred to as “born-again” Christians. Jesus said that no one can see the kingdom of God (eternal life) unless he is “born again” — born both of water and of spirit. (John 3:3,5,6)
There are no shaded areas in Christianity. ALL people fit into two different categories; they are either “SHEEP” or “GOATS”. God calls born-again followers of Jesus Christ His “SHEEP”. Everyone else — without exception — are called “GOATS” — BY GOD! There’s no such thing as getting an “eternal life pass” for extreme goodness or niceness. If we have heard the truth about Jesus Christ (and you have if you have read this far), there is only one way we receive the gift of eternal life — and that is through the atonement of Jesus Christ.
“He that hears my word, and believes on him [God] that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24; 6:47)
Jesus said, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” (John 10:9)
“Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” (Luke 13:23-24)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
“Even now many antichrists have come….they went out from us, but they did not really belong to us (Christians).” (1 John 2:18-19)
And every spirit which does not acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh [but would annul, destroy, sever, disunite Him] is not of God [does not proceed from Him]. This [nonconfession] is the [spirit] of the antichrist, [of] which you heard that it was coming, and now it is already in the world.” (1 John 4:3, AMP)
God said, “You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3) — ‘No other gods” includes Allah!
Stop believing lies such as “our Founding Fathers wanted to keep religion out of government” or most of our Founding Fathers were diests”. Do your own searches and take the official documents not blogs where people just keep spouting the same old liberal lies.
Neither the Constitution nor the First Amendment mention “Separation of Church and State”. The First Amendment simply reads:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” That’s all! Nothing more!
Note that it says Congress shall make no laws establishing or prohibiting religion!
Puritans/Pilgrims left England to escape religious persecution (do google search). The Church of England was the only sanctioned church.
“Pilgrims were the early settlers who fled a volatile political environment in England to preserve their religion.” (Wikipedia)
Our Founding Fathers wanted to keep government out of the church’s business, not religion out of government. Most of them attended church (see below).
[Note: The phrase separation of church and state is generally traced to the letter written by Thomas Jefferson in 1802 to the Danbury Baptists, in which he referred to the First Amendment to the United States Constitution as creating a "wall of separation" between church and state. The phrase was then quoted by the United States Supreme Court first in 1878, and then in a series of cases starting in 1948. This led to increased popular and political discussion of the concept.]
Jefferson’s intent is further reflected in the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, originally by Thomas Jefferson, but championed by Madison, and guaranteeing that no one may be compelled to finance any religion or denomination. [Wikipedia]
“… no man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burdened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinion in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish enlarge, or affect their civil capacities.” (Wikipedia]
Combining the total number of signatures on the early documents forming our rights, etc. there are 204 individuals that are considered U.S. “Founding Fathers”. Their religious affiliations: Episcopalian/Anglican (88), Presbyterian (30), Congregationalist (27), Quaker (7), Dutch/German Reformed (6), Lutheran (5), Catholic (3), Huguenot (3), Unitarian (3), Methodist (2), Calvinist (1), totaling 175. (w ww.adherents.c o m/gov/Founding_Fathers_Religion.html) (close spaces)
[It's still legal - and always God-honoring - to air messages like the following. (See Ezekiel 3:18-19.) In light of government backing of raunchy behavior (such offenders were even executed in early America!), maybe the separation we really need is the "separation of raunch and state"!]
In Luke 17 in the New Testament, Jesus said that one of the big “signs” that will happen shortly before His return to earth as Judge will be a repeat of the “days of Lot” (see Genesis 19 for details). So gays are actually helping to fulfill this same worldwide “sign” (and making the Bible even more believable!) and thus hurrying up the return of the Judge! They are accomplishing what many preachers haven’t accomplished! Gays couldn’t have accomplished this by just coming out of closets into bedrooms. Instead, they invented new architecture – you know, closets opening on to Main Streets where little kids would be able to watch naked men having sex with each other at festivals in places like San Francisco (where their underground saint – San Andreas – may soon get a big jolt out of what’s going on over his head!). Thanks, gays, for figuring out how to bring back our resurrected Saviour even quicker!
Christians need to consider seriously the foundation of the American Constitution. It is also important that irrespective of embracing multiple religion due to different nationality, the foundation should not be removed less the house crumbles. America is on the verge of crumbling as the leadership is opposing the very constitution. The foundation of the United States has been experiencing consistent shiftings adn as a result crumbling is inevitable. Obviously, the New “Black” President is trying to be neutral in his dealing with morals and values according to the constitution of America. He sits on the fence regarding serious issues. He’s gottten power and popularity, and if he continues to refuse godly council, like a fool, like Rehoboam, he shall certainly fall.
It’s disgraceful to see that the President refuses to do carry our his presidential duties. He has a family, yet he supports gay rights, he has a family yet he supports abortion. Had his mom aborted him, this president would not have existed today. Mr. Obama has slapped the church that placed in office in the face. What a shame.
