THE GOOD NEWS: Florida House of Representatives passes ‘Free Speech Protection’ Bill
THE BAD NEWS: That such a law even needed to be passed in this land of the free.
Now In Florida, critics of the Obamanation and the Religion of ‘Peace’ cannot have their opinions suppressed.
From Brigitte Gabriel Act for America, Adam Hasner, the Florida House Majority Leader reports that Florida’s version of “Rachel’s Law” had just passed. In a conference call a week earlier Rep. Hasner pointed out that ACT! for America chapter leaders and members in Florida played an active part in reaching out to legislators in the Florida House on this legislation.
As Rep. Hasner noted so eloquently: This bill protects Floridians from having their right to free speech suppressed by those with radical ideologies. Foreign courts that do not place the same value on our constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech will no longer be used to intimidate Florida citizens.”
You may recall that “Rachel’s Law” was originally passed in New York about a year ago. It protects authors and publishers from intimidation lawsuits filed in foreign countries, and was dubbed “Rachel’s Law” because of a lawsuit filed BY THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT against Rachel Ehrenfeld who wrote the book Funding Evil. Our worst nightmare – hate crimes legislation. This will undo us. The line in the sand is free speech. And this is an attack on free speech. The war is lost, America is lost, all is lost if we lose free speech – even speech we do not like. This is the most dangerous piece of legislation Americans face. What is hate speech? Who decides? This is an overthrow of the first amendment.
Clearly the clergy hate it, because they will prosecute priests for preaching against homosexuality, but they will not prosecute imams for inciting jihad and Islamic Jew hatred.
Violence against anyone for any reason should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Why introduce the ‘hate’ aspect?

BRITAIN appears to be evolving into the first modern soft totalitarian state. There are no concentration camps or gulags but there are thought police with unprecedented powers to dictate ways of thinking and sniff out heresy, and there can be harsh punishments for dissent.
Nikolai Bukharin claimed one of the Bolshevik Revolution’s principal tasks was “to alter people’s actual psychology”. Britain is not Bolshevik, but a campaign to alter people’s psychology and create a new Homo Britannicus is under way without even a fig leaf of disguise. The Government is pushing ahead with legislation that will criminalise politically incorrect jokes, with a maximum punishment of up to seven years prison.
September 2006, a 14-year-old schoolgirl, Codie Stott, asked a teacher if she could sit with another group to do a science project as all the girls with her spoke only Urdu. The teacher’s first response, according to Stott, was to scream at her: “It’s racist, you’re going 
to get done by the police!” Upset and terrified, the schoolgirl went outside to calm down. The teacher called the police and a few days later, presumably after officialdom had thought the matter over, she was arrested and taken to a police station, where she was fingerprinted and photographed. According to her mother, she was placed in a bare cell for 3 1/2 hours. She 
was questioned on suspicion of committing a racial public order offence and then released without charge. The school was said to be investigating what further action to take, not against the teacher, but against Stott. Headmaster Anthony Edkins reportedly said: “An allegation of a serious nature was made concerning a racially motivated remark. We aim to ensure a caring and tolerant attitude towards pupils of all ethnic backgrounds and will not stand for racism in any form.”
But Britain places no such restrictions on the most vile hate speech of all: THE QUR’AN

Britain is the model of things to come should America continue down this PC Socialistic path.
Muhammad is now second only to Jack as the most popular name for baby boys in Britain and is likely to rise to No 1 sometime this year, with their immigration problem and their liberal pc mentality (we wouldn’t want to offend anybody that wants to kill or destroy us) now would we? There’s not much hope for that country!
The British have no pride, patriotism or self respect, it won’t be long before the union jack is replaced by the star and crescent. I don’t see Britain surviving this kind of assault (they can’t fit a bobby in their pocket, so their basically at the mercy of anybody that wishes to do them harm)
It’s really to bad, they had so much love, pride and self respect after WWll before liberalism tore out their heart.
Mack, I think Muhammad already is No. 1. I have many readers on my website from the UK who say they learn more about what’s going on with the Muslims in the UK from the internet than they do from their own media. Not that we are any different. But there are also those who are right in the midst of the Islamization and are thinking of joining the white flight out of towns were Muslims are taking over. It’s very sad.
And Conyers needs to GO. He is destroying what is left of this state.
