Yet Another 3am Pirates Call For Obama
Those “3am” calls Hillary talked about just seem to keep coming. NK missile test. First American flagged vessel overtaken by pirates in over 200 years. Obama’s response; declines comment, no response and no action. Hillary laughs. Robert Gibbs on the subject: “ah, um, ah, well.” Obama doesn’t even offer a prayer for the safety of Captain Richard Phillips, instead, outsourced the issue to minor funtionaries
Advisers say he’s leaving the heavy lifting — and, clearly, the commenting — to high-level administration officials and his military commanders.
As the current saying goes “what would the Left say if this was Bush in charge?” Certainly not a conference in the kiddie playground.
Meanwhile, pirate test 2
Pirates captured a U.S.-owned and Italian-flagged tugboat with 16 crew including 10 Italians on Saturday in the latest hijacking in the busy Gulf of Aden.
“We can confirm that 10 Italians were kidnapped but we have no further details,” an Italian foreign ministry official said.
I guess we’ll have to wait to see if the Obama administration, which, last time I looked, was Constitutionally charged with defending American citizens and property, will even comment, much less do anything. Will anyone do something about the 260+ hostages that pirates are holding? Pretty sad when the French government has more cajones then the American government.
And, of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without a progressive making excuses for the pirates. Piracy may be somewhat romantic, and cool in the movies (FYI: my blog and screen name come from having gone to East Carolina U, the home of the pirates, not because I think piracy is great,) but, in reality, it is something that needs to be stamped out.
And another who goes with the tired old “let’s blame Bush.”

In Somalia, we know where the pirates’ bases are… we know where many of the pirates are… and we know where their boats are. All of these things should be vaporized by Navy pilots tomorrow- this would have a substantial deterrent effect.
But it’s not going to happen with this president- it’s approaching the point where one has to question his motivations and loyalties, really. Like when he snubbed the British -our closest ally for decades- because of some weird personal grudge re. what they did in Kenya 50 years ago.

Obama is not a capable man. He has never led so much as a Cub Scout pack in his miserable chain smoking coke snorting life.
I heard that a truck load of white flags intended to be used for surrender was never delivered to the White House and may be part of the nation wide attempt to shut everything down. A truck loaded with ketchup intended for delivery for the Red Sox Home Opener was also side tracked. A call to the French supplier of surrender flags went un-answered and it is believed that the French use an answering service manned by radical Islamic sympathizers.
The president is too busy to pick out a dog for his family.
The real Question I ask is does Obama have the Brass to Stand up for America or Does he stand For Somali
The terrorists mother ships, patrol boats and onshore bases should have been vaporized already while negoiating.
While were at it why are we wasting resources on the battlefield terrorists at Gitmo? they should have been treid, convicted and dispatched years ago.
With such a phony as a president our country is in peril of accelerating violence, terrorism and attacks due to the Messiah and regimes team of appeasers. Imagine observing the weakness displayed by Obongo during the G-20 fiasco and your plotting and planning against the US, would you be more or less inclined to mess with the US? These things do not require law degrees to figure out, as this is as old as man. Show weakness and your enemies will take advantage.
Now is not the time for politics, but thats all the deceiver knows.
Wake Up America before its too late
Dear Mr. Blame the ACLU: You linked to my site with the anchor words “let’s blame bush.” Please note that in no way in my post did I blame Bush for Somali piracy or the present hostage situation. However, since people coming to my site from yours do not actually read the post for themselves, they are yelling at me for “blaming Bush,” which I did not do. I just want you to know I am highly annoyed.
I think probably Obama is not very much concerned about these things than the internal situations in the country. There is lot to be done for the economic mess in the country for which many Americans are suffering.
That could be the reason why he is not getting time to think about external matters. I am just guessing my opinion.

No, Not really. It is 5 days since Captain Phillips was taken hostage. I give Obama kudos for sending in the SEALs, good for him. But, he still has barely said a word. The best he could do was put out a statement. He couldn’t find the time to actually speak to the press. Pretty sad.
