Why Does Obama Want Illegals Legalized Quick? So They can Join Unions!

According to reports, President Obama said it’s important to have a quick path to citizenship for illegal immigrants so that they can join unions to “get protection” from evil employers.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Southern California, Obama broached his newest cause celebre, “comprehensive” immigration reform, in Costa Mesa.
“If they stay in the shadows in the underground economy, they are oftentimes pitted against American workers since they can’t join a union. They can’t complain about minimum wages.”
Obama also claimed that we need to make sure illegal immigrants don’t flood across the border uncontrolled saying that we need to secure our border with Mexico. Yet, even as he told Californians that he is an advocate of a tighter boarder, reports have emerged that his administration is going to take money away from immigration workplace enforcement programs allowing immigrants to more easily take jobs illegally in the U.S.
So, as is typical with this president, what he says on the permanent campaign trail is in no way backed by his actual policies.
What we see here is the exact opposite of a controlled border. He wants to give blanket amnesty to enlarge union rolls and denude money from enforcement on top of that so that even more illegals will find reason to sneak across the border.
If Californians thought Obama was trying to head off the coming Mexifornia, they are sorely mistaken.

you can bet when they say OH HURRY gotta do something quick to pass stimulus and bailout it was a ploy to rush the USA INTO BAD DECISIONS THAT WILL COST us our lives.
yet, when we tell WASH DC SLUGS to stop things they want to drag their feet even though they work for USA. they were not put into office to dictate to USA what we are to do but they want to anyway. that needs to change
The more Obama does presidential “stuff,” the more worried I get. Now that the glow’s gone off the rose, and now that the sycophants have put away their boas and their pink underwear and have slipped back to the tea dances, hopefully others will come to their senses and realized we’re in deep doo-doo with this would-be messiah. It’s the first quarter of a very long game, and the new quarterback is calling all the wrong signals. Problem is, his backup is out with a hangover.
He’s been talking out of the side of his neck since day one, what’s more troubling is a large percentage of American’s are buying his BS.
Doh!Bama is a perfect example of an affirmative action president, unqualified! But given the job based on race. (ò¿ó)
I suppose it hasn’t occurred to His Majesty that if his government can’t, or won’t, control our borders–especially in the middle of a major recession–then well-armed American citizens will take it upon themselves to do the job.

Large business CEO’s, corrupt wall street bankers,mortgage brokers, greedy lawyers suing doctors and fat,lazy, american citizens using welfare e.t.c have ruined this country.
Socially deprived hermits like you are falling victim to the right wing media propaganda. Undocumented workers are just an excuse to keep morons like you distracted. Part of the reason why Reagan revived the economy years ago was the fact that he granted amnesty to millions of hard working illegal immigrants.
Many anti-immigrant americans complain of undocumented immigrant
workers accepting low wages thus resulting in unfair competition
in the job market. They are even blamed them for the downward
trend of pay rates to very low levels. Solution? Regularize
these workers so they can join the unions. Surely, they’d rather
have $18/hr instead of $8/hr. Another complaint is they are
draining the welfare coffers of the federal government by
becoming a social burden. Solution? Legalize them so they can
pay ss/medicare and income taxes. If 10 million undocumented
workers pay payroll and income taxes and property taxes, that
would be billions of dollar going into government coffers.
Terrorists, druggists, smugglers, criminals, be they citizens or
immigrants have there place in jail. But hardworking people
seeking the american dream should be treated with respect and
dignity. America is a nation of immigrants. Even native
americans have accepted the presence of immigrants in this land.
But many have forgotten that our ancestors came from other lands
in search of the american dream.
“America is a nation of immigrants”
Untrue. America is a nation of LEGAL White European immigrants, its foundations exclusively laid by White Anglo-Saxon Protestants. That is why the United States does not resemble Mexico or Uganda. Societies are expressions of Race. To the extent which a society becomes Mexican or African, it resembles THEIR societies of origin. Detroit is far more like Africa than it is like any place where Western Europeans predominate. Mexico is resource rich, but intellect impoverished, therefore it is a terrible place to live. The one thing we do not need is an intellectual and social regression bomb migrating across our Southern border.
true american patriot: if the illegals wanted to seek the American Dream and be treated with respect and dignity, they could have chosen to go the legal route through US immigration. Instead, they chose to break the law – and I’m sure in the case of some longterm illegals, they’ve been breaking US law for over 10 or 20 years, just by being here. That is NOTHING to reward. Obama is just trying to create a voting bloc; which will incidentally, doom the border states as illegals will flock here by the truckload. The US President should not be heralding criminals as somehow noble.
i have friends that hve bn in America since babies/kids they’re here because of war at their place of origin,no money, and just wanting a higher education i say obama should legalize hard working immigrants who only see America as their homeland and have bn working here for more than five years immigrant students who have bn studying here and want to seek for a future career in America should also be legalize i am not saying that all immigrants should be legalized just those as mentioned above n no criminal records
