The idea is very good as it does what conservatives keep claiming they want done and that is make the big government smaller.

The insurance companies should not be bailed out by the government in the name of helping veterans.

There are possibly some shortfalls such as increased premiums for Vets but that can be worked out by subsidizing or paying the increase in premium. That would not even happen with group insurance as showing such an attitude to the vets would make insurance companies look bad. I am not even sure it would happen with individual insurance for much the same reason.

It doesn’t matter what anybody thinks because BHO has decided to put this in effect through “reconciliation” which means that it is tacked onto some other bill like the budget which has already been approved by Congress. Thus it will be done, but never put up to a vote. That’s how it’s done in Amerika comrades!

The idea is idiotic, but it does have an upside – it makes Obama look horrifically incompetent and downright terrible even to his own supporters. Eesh, I’m sure others have considered this, but were smart enough not to say it out loud or do anything about it.

I cannot believe they are giving free housing and healthcare to illegal aliens, like Obama’s aunt in Boston, but cannot pay for healthcare and housing for soldiers,sailors and airmen and women, who are injured protecting us.
This is disgusting and shows Obama is in WAY over his head.
