He had notes, but hey...most folks giving a speech uses notes. He didn't read his speech, didn't look left and right at those annoying screens. He looked at the people he was speaking to. Folks can make fun of Bush all they want, but at least he was real....flawed....but real. I had the pleasure of seeing Bush speak several times, and not once did he ever use a teleprompter.
