When Will Mr. Constitutional Professor Stand Up For The Constitution?

Wasn’t Obama all for standing up for the Constitution, as he told us countless times during his campaign (which is still going on?) Well, eleven States are setting out to remind President Obambi of an Amendment he has forgotten: Eleven States Declare Sovereignty Over Obama’s Action by A.W.R. Hawkins

State governors — looking down the gun barrel of long-term spending forced on them by the Obama “stimulus” plan — are saying they will refuse to take the money. This is a Constitutional confrontation between the federal government and the states unlike any in our time.

In the first five weeks of his presidency, Barack Obama has acted so rashly that at least 11 states have decided that his brand of “hope” equates to an intolerable expansion of the federal government’s authority over the states. These states — “Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California…Georgia,” South Carolina, and Texas — “have all introduced bills and resolutions” reminding Obama that the 10th Amendment protects the rights of the states, which are the rights of the people, by limiting the power of the federal government. These resolutions call on Obama to “cease and desist” from his reckless government expansion and also indicate that federal laws and regulations implemented in violation of the 10th Amendment can be nullified by the states.

When the Constitution was being ratified during the 1780s, the 10th Amendment was understood to be the linchpin that held the entire Bill of Rights together. The amendment states: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Will Obama and the hard left Congress Critters listen? Doubtful. Because they want expanded federal government control, putting States in a completely subservient position, with the ability to dictate all actions to the States.

Of Course, and the people subservient as well. We are nothing but peons and slaves to the liberal mind. To be subjugated, put under, and held down to further their world view. People have no rights, except those that the government allows them to have in the liberal view point.

Obama has already proven that he does not grasp the most basic of concepts: that of limited government. With his misguided phrase that the Constitution “limited what the government can do for you”, he distanced himself from any meaningful leadership qualities. His ability to distort and twist plain language and elegant prose alike show that he studied Alinsky much more than Jefferson. Didn’t want to look like a sellout, dontchaknow.
He is philosophically unqualified for his current position.

All I keep thinking is, “I told you so.” It won’t be long before he proves his critics correct.

Professor Hussein to lecture to country tonight and tell us why he and his “experts” in government will solve all our problems. Geez…how pathetic people are, who believe politicians, especially one who has never run a hot dog stand in his affirmative action life.

I ACTUALLY JUST HAPPENED UPON THIS SITE. AFTER READING THE ABOVE AND THEN RE-READING, JUST TO BE SURE…I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS AND THEN A COMMENT OR TWO:

1.-WHERE WERE YOU WEASELS WHEN BUSH AND COMPANY RAPED THE CONSTITUTION AND THE BILL OF RIGHTS?
2.-WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE SURPLUS TURNED INTO THE LARGEST NATIONAL DEBT IN RECORDED HISTORY?

    COMMENTS:
YOU ARE SO DELUDED YOU PROBABLY STILL THINK THAT THE OTHER HUSSEIN (SADAM) WAS PART AND PARCEL OF AL QUAIDA AND RESPONSIBLE FOR THE 9-11 ATTACKS ON AMERICA. NO WONDER A FUNDAMENTALIST DIMWIT PUPPET AND HIS FASCIST HANDLERS WERE ABLE TO DO
WHAT THEY DID TO OUR COUNTRY…NAMELY, BRING IT TO THE BRINK OF DESTRUCTION IN THE FORM OF THE SECOND REPUBLICAN-CAUSED GREAT DEPRESSION.

IT IS A CONSTANT SOURCE OF AMAZEMENT TO ME THAT STATES RIGHTISTS SUCH AS YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SO EASILY DUPED BY THE RICH AND POWERFUL INTO VOTING
AGAINST YOUR OWN SELF-INTEREST. IT MUST REALLY STICK IN YOUR COLLECTIVE CRAWS THAT A ‘NIGRA’ HAS
BEEN ELECTED PRESIDENT IN SPITE OF ALL YOUR WORST EFFORTS TO RIG ELECTIONS AND DISENFRANCHISE* BLACK VOTERS.

HAVE ANY OF YOU EVER HAD AN IDEA THAT WASN’T
SPOON FED TO YOU BY RICH WHITE POLITICIANS OR YOUR
LOCAL KLAN LEADERS? WELL HAVE YOU? I THOUGHT NOT.

*IT’S A BIG WORD, I KNOW, BUT STICK WITH ME ON THIS:
IT MEANS TO DEPRIVE AN INDIVIDUAL (CITIZEN) OF HIS OR HER RIGHTS…LIKE THE RIGHT TO VOTE.

Can you point out exactly how Bush raped the Constitution, and how it affected you, Lam? You lefties sure like to throw that talking point out there, but, you always forget the details.

And, according to the 10th Amendment, well, you should maybe trying reading it.

Who has stopped anyone who is legally eligible to vote?

Yes, they like to throw around their banter, but can’t seem to back it up.

Since when has any politician, especially those who have run for President, proved to be anything more than a liar and renigged on their campaign promises? And, why is everyone surprised by the newest president and his antics? It never fails to amaze me every time people are surprised, again! That’s why I stopped voting decades ago, because nothing ever changes and I don’t want to be a part of the insanity and stupidity. There are better ways and means that are coming.
