U.S. Army Officer Wants Proof Of Obama’s Presidential Eligibility
Putting it all on the line for belief and Constitutionality: Soldier doubts eligibility, defies president’s orders
A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an “impostor” in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama’s eligibility to be commander in chief.
The statement was publicized by California attorney Orly Taitz who, along with her DefendOurFreedom.us Foundation, is working on a series of legal cases seeking to uncover Obama’s birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.
“As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States,” wrote Scott Easterling in a “to-whom-it-may-concern” letter.
Obama “has absolutely refused to provide to the American public his original birth certificate, as well as other documents which may prove or disprove his eligibility,” Easterling wrote. “In fact, he has fought every attempt made by concerned citizens in their effort to force him to do so.”
Taitz told WND she had advised Easterling to obtain legal counsel before making any statements regarding the commander-in-chief, but he insisted on moving forward. His contention is that as an active member of the U.S. military, he is required to follow orders from a sitting president, and he needs – on pain of court-martial – to know that Obama is eligible.
Surely, the Left will personally attack and smear Easterling, but, the point is valid: why is Obama so hell-bent on keeping his actual birth certificate secret? And before anyone writes it, his Certificate of Live Birth, printed within the last few years, is not proof, particularly when you look at the statement on the bottom of it.
Just for clarity, I am not saying that Obama is not eligible: until proven otherwise, I will take the opinion that he is. But, again, why is he fighting tooth and nail to quash all lawsuits regarding the forced release of the BC? Why not just go “here. Satisfied?”

Because a revelation that Obama is not, in fact, eligible will be the veritable straw that breaks the camel’s back. If Obama is forced to resign, he’ll be replaced by an goofy laughingstock–Joe Biden. Indeed, given his mouth and attitude, Biden’s tenure may also be short as well. So, being third-in-line, would Nancy Pelosi be up to the job? Here’s the short answer: NO.
The problem for Obama is that he’s being rapidly boxed into a corner vis a vis the birth certificate issue. To wit:
1. If Obama continues to refuse to release his birth certificate, it’s just going to increase the perception that he’s got something to hide…and accordingly damage his credibility.
2. If Obama does finally release his certificate…
a) Even if he’s shown to be an American citizen, people will then ask, “What does it say about this guy’s judgment that he spent literally years trying to avoid a question he could have answered in a few minutes?”
b) If he’s shown to be ineligible, then not only he will be screwed, but pretty much the entire Democratic and MSM establishment will also be going down with him, won’t they?

He has never produced a true birth certficate naming the hospital and attending doctor – just a certificate saying there was a live birth. Wouldn’t you think the hospital staff from the hospital he was born in come forward with pride to say he was born there? Or the doctor’s family? I read and it is only a theory – that his true father was really the man he claims was his mentor (an American communist). Before anyone takes the oath of office, they should be thoroughly vetted and for some strange reason it did not happen here. Just as the strange timing of the market fall as McCain was leading in September. It all feels very fixed to me.
No, Bill, it has not. What was released and is at FactCheck, among others is a Certificate of Live Birth, which is not the same thing, and was printed only a few years ago. And the COLB is only evidence of birth. It does not fully establish that he was actually born in Hawaii on that day on that year, just that is what they were told. Similar to the way a newspaper could be told of a birth. Doesn’t make it legal.

I really need the document interpreted. I need someone to interpret it to their own favor of course, but also it’s my right to have it in a foreign language. I made that “right” up so it’s valid, which is in stark contrast to any rights that are granted in some antiquated document.

I’m not completely spun up on the intricacies of UCMJ… but I’d say he should be court-martialed NOW, and given the boot. I’d love to be this guys commanding officer right now. Either way, he’s gonna be in a world of pain for the remainder of his time in service.

I personally don’t buy the whole “He wasn’t born in America” idea and haven’t for a long time. Still, this whole matter is proof positive that Obama is a complete and utter moron. How easy is it to settle this matter once and for all? The fact that he won’t just invites this kind of doubt. In the words of Bugs Bunny, “What a maroon.”
Obviously, this officer, who pledged to defend the constitution from all enemies foreign or DOMESTIC, wants to be sure he is following LEGAL orders. Those can only come from a legitimate senior officer in his chain of command, which the president would be as long as he legitimately holds the office- based on the constitution. See how this all comes together? I do believe he is jumping on a grenade but he must realize the danger and thinks it is important. We do want officers who have courage in their convictions, right? He is probably serving in a war zone and figures-”What is the worst they can do, shave my head and send me to Afghanistan? I’m already here.”
The big question is – and you have to take politics and partisanship out of this- should an Army officer be drummed out of the service for asking a legitimate question of his superior officer? If you are in battle and an officer you did not know, and therefore would not be authorized to give you legitimate orders, came up to you and said “take that city by all means necessary” would you blindly follow or ask him “under what authority?”

I notice that the article in question goes to the extreme of saying he called the president an impostor (in quotes). Two entirely different things, although he may have actually said both. I can not call my commanding officer a bastard. I can ask if his mother and father were married at the time of his birth, politely. He can tell me it is none of my business but he can not court martial me.
This actually reminds me of a discussion I had the other day within a peer group. If the second amendment is not repealed legally but the “Government” (big G) instructs the military (little g) to go door-to-door confiscating guns because of a “national emergency” (sort of like New Orleans during Katrina?) is this a lawful order you are bound to follow? And if not, as I claim it is definitely not (especially considering the recent supreme court ruling in Heller vs DC), could you be convicted in a court martial for disobeying an order? The obvious answer is no but that does not mean you would not be charged and your career ended by some ambitious political military officer (think John Kerry in his hey-day). Good discussions to have in light of our current political climate.
What a great oppertunity, job openings, with advancement and a carreer at a time when people are desperitly looking for work. Finally we get to rid ourselves of the slackers that we were saddled with from the first BUSH sr presidency. Get our military headed in the RIGHT direction again, helping people survive instead of making war on innocents.
If anyone has “standing” a GI does. If that damned SCOTUS denies hearing this, we know they’ve gone over to the dark side, as well. Now, if only more officers would stand up and be counted.

Róger Calero was the Socialist Workers Party (SWP) candidate for President of the United States on the ballots of many states in this last election and previous elections. He is not a natural born citizen of the United States. The Socialist Workers Party is a communist political party. Barack Hussein Obama was a member and/or affiliated by written contract with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), a political party officially affiliated with the Socialists International (SI) political party recognized by the United Nations. What if the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and its many leaders who are members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) had nominated Róger Calero as their candidate, instead of Barack Hussein Obama, and caused him to be elected as President of the United States? Are you saying soldiers having taken the oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC are authorized and obligated to execute orders from a DNC elected President Róger Calero?
Why you are required to take an oath to protect the Constitution instead of the President, if you have no intention of honoring it with your life and limb WITHOUT orders from a superior officer? Don’t you think the purpose of the oath is to defend the U.S. Constitution against unconstitutional acts like those committed by a lawfully commissioned officer such as Major General Benedict Arnold? In cases of doubt, who do you think is best qualified to judge such a conflict in duties, superior officers who may be compromising the oath or a general courts martial and the U.S. Supreme Court?

The birth certificate is at issue however per the bigger issue is that Obama’s father was a subject of the British Empire as a result of being a Kenyan citizen because Kenya was a common wealth nation of the British Empire. As such, Obama too is a subject of the british empire by way of birth from his father.
Article 2 Section 1 of the constitution says that in order to be president no other nation can lay claim on you. The framers of the constitution put this in so that no president had loyalty to any other nation except the United States of America.
Obama per the constitution is not eligible. And get this, there are 4 Supreme Court Justices that agree as 4 cases have been heard (which is rare unless there is validity to the case). The problem is, when the justices here it they vote to see if it goes to the full surpreme court but some justices are voting against it.
Eventually the truth will come out.
As a Canadian, I can only watch in fasinated horror as this constitutional mess unfolds. Our recent Parliamentary crisis doesn’t apporoach the severity of this economy-sized can-of-worms: Obama’s birth certificate.
I simply can’t fathom why President Obama doesn’t just produce the ‘vault copy’ of his birth certificate, and be done with this silliness…unless he DOES have something to hide. In that event, the result would be a train-wreck of Global proportions, with the U.S. economy, political system and media suffering irrepairable damage in the World’s opinion.

About seventy percent of ‘black’ Americans have some European ancestry and more than a fifth of their ‘white’ counterparts have African, or other non-Caucasian blood. Birth certificate or no birth certificate, the disputes about ineligibiity due to dual citizenship and/or expatriation remain. Barack Hussein Obama concentrated on constitutional law for a purpose. He has acknowledged being born with dual British-U.S. citizenship, whether or not Anne Dunham was too young to confer U.S. citizenship.
Okay… I was a YOUNG Captain in the Infantry during Vietnam.
This guy is 40 years old… not a YOUNG guy that believes in all the hype that he hears by the MSM.
He has an obligation to self, and to the United States Constitution, and to follow LAWFUL Orders by his Chain of Command.
I do not KNOW that Obama is a Natural Born Citizen.
You know why? There is NO EVIDENCE to support one way or another that he is a Naturalized Citizen.
His academic records, all admission records, all test scores, all information that would validate his background have been SEALED PRIOR to his running for President.
What this means is there are no PUBLIC RECORDS of his life prior to graduating from Harvard.
No records from HS, none from Occidental, Columbia or Harvard. ALL information regarding his life have been scrubbed from the internet. No on can interview any extended relatives in Kenya, or view any records there same goes for his stay in Indonesia.
All it would take is for him to authorize the viewing of these documents to put this issue at rest.
But he chooses to IGNORE the issue and let his legal beagals fight this in courts.
This will not go away… it is like a wound that will continue to fester.

For Scott Easterling he should be stripped of all his military powers and court marshall to an Iraqi jail for life that will teach him to disrespect his Commander-In-Chief. Pres. For the record, there’s the Army officer’s oath of office. I’ll have to side with the LT here; the fact that Obama continues to try to sweep the issue under the rug gives me reasonable concern about his status as a natural-born citizen.

No, otherwise Róger Calero would not have been included as a candidate for President of the United States on the ballots of many states alongside Barack Hussein Obama. If the vetting did not bar the election of Róger Calero, a communist who is not a natural born citizen, it remains to be explained how Barack Hussein Obama is any different.
John Doe- A soldier has to submit a real birth certificate to join the army. If he plays around and make excuses he would not get in. You want an amercian soldier torn to pieces and sent to his family you sound like a terrorist to me.
The Constitutional prohibition on a foreign born person being president is as meaningless as the Constitutional prohibition on Electoral College votes of any one state going to both a presidential candidate and a vice presidential candidate who come from that state.
Should it get to court Obama should consider retaining Harriet Miers who successfully argued before the appeals court that even though Cheney lived in Dallas. Worked in Dallas, voted in Dallas, paid reduced property taxes on his home in Dallas by declaring it his homestead, he was not a resident of Texas and was a resident of Wyoming. She argued, and the court bought her argument that because; “Differences between the year 1800 and 2000 is more than two centuries, it’s light-years,”, a “broad and inclusive” reading of the Constitution is needed to determine what the Constitution says.
This country is in serious trouble after having liberal presidents since 1989.

As for Roger Calero–James Harris (SWP) stood in on the ticket during his presidential bid because he could not campaign since he was not a U.S citizen–Calero could not have been confirmed under the Electorial College using his God giving name.

Anyone who applauds an officer who disregards the order of his CINC and commanding officers, based on half-truths, rumors, and conjecture… IMO… like Easterling, they have no idea what discipline is, and what it means in the military. Soldiers should not be concerned with the CINCs personal paperwork. No one, including myself, Easterling, and anybody on here.. has one shred of evidence of any wrongdoing on your President’s part. This is simply the flip side of “Bush Staged 9/11″.. “Obama Is Hiding His Birth Certificate.” All I have to say, is thank God we have soldiers/marines/airmen/seamen who can put politics aside and execute their missions.
