Dialouge yes but no money give them nothing if they have pre conditions to be friends as long as we give them money. No way stop all the forgein aid we need the money here what about the future of our children. We must worry about our own country no more money for forgein aid.

Let’s not forget that it was the US and the CIA that overthrew the legitimate Iranian government and installed the shah. That’s where the distrust begins, who can blame the Iranians? When the bully on the block is beating up weaklings without reason, it’s only sane to attempt to produce a legitimate weapon to defend yourself with.

As a single-dad raising the last of 4 kids, I find your reference to single parents be typical of those who haven’t walked the walk but perhaps just like to talk the talk.

If I’m wrong on that, please correct me.

As for your post content, we can agree to disagree. Yes, I’m an unashamed liberal from the Left Coast, still I can see why you’re angry.

The rest of the world wants an America to lead, not bully. Bush’s legacy is just that, the bully. The isolationist effects of the Bush admin’s eight year foray into foreign policy is exactly what (again, from my liberal viewpoint) we need to get away from.

In my opinion, there is a space between the ultra-right wing preemptive approach and the Socialist-French agenda you cite.

That’s where I’d like to see this country.

Oh and by the way…No period at the end of your first sentence? Even single dads know how to punctuate a sentence.
