Hope ‘N Change Hits Gitmo. Well, Mostly Change
All is not unicorns and care bears down at Club Gitmo. I wonder why
But first, Lieutenant-Colonel Yvonne Bradley, a US military attorney for 20 years, will reveal that Mohamed, 31, is dying in his Guantánamo cell and that conditions inside the Cuban prison camp have deteriorated badly since Barack Obama took office. Fifty of its 260 detainees are on hunger strike and, say witnesses, are being strapped to chairs and force-fed, with those who resist being beaten. At least 20 are described as being so unhealthy they are on a “critical list”, according to Bradley.
“Binyam has witnessed people being forcibly extracted from their cell. Swat teams in police gear come in and take the person out; if they resist, they are force-fed and then beaten. Binyam has seen this and has not witnessed this before. Guantánamo Bay is in the grip of a mass hunger strike and the numbers are growing; things are worsening.
“It is so bad that there are not enough chairs to strap them down and force-feed them for a two- or three-hour period to digest food through a feeding tube. Because there are not enough chairs the guards are having to force-feed them in shifts.
Where are all the liberals and the American Credentialed Media to assail the torture and harsh conditions that are going at Gitmo under Barry’s watch? Of course, we have to take this with a huge grain of salt. This is pretty much an expected tactic by Islamic jihadis, making horrendous claims, especially now, in order to put pressure on Obama.
Meanwhile, the ACLU is not impressed by all the change
“Hope is flickering. The Obama administration’s position is not change. It is more of the same. This represents a complete turn-around and undermining of the restoration of the rule of law. The new American administration shouldn’t be complicit in hiding the abuses of its predecessors.”
Love it! They manage to go BDS and blame Obama in the same paragraph.

I’m very impressed at how you selected lines out of the guardian article to make the story sound so very different to serve your agenda.
Good job!

Good job!”
I’m impressed that you can cut and paste the same comment on multiple articles just to harass those who see things differently then yourself.
Good job!
Impressed, the funny part is that my excerpts are pretty much EXACTLY what Talk Left excerpted. Funny, eh?

Let me wipe Impressed’s blood off my PC screen, especially after what Seven Seas caught.
keep up the Good Work Guys and Gals! They whine and cry about al-Nashiri getting a little water up his nose, when he blew our son up in the attack on the Cole. I am going to put a link on my site to yours. They managed to get Obama to dismiss the charges the next step will be to free him. Like Saleh in Yemen did with all of our sons killers. If you know a good lawyer who will represent us to fight this decision please let me know.
