This type of reaction shows that their efforts are working. The non-stop barrage of the false message can be difficult to avoid. I somehow get the feeling that if you told this kid the truth about "climate change", it would be akin to telling him there is no Santa Claus. He'd feel bad for a while, but then gradually be thankful someone cared about him enough to set him straight.
