I am a heterosexual middle aged mother of three daughters. I am also an English teacher.

I find it very interesting to compare the entries of those who oppose this adoption to the entries of those who do not. Those who oppose, almost without exception, oppose strongly (one might say “hysterically”, use emotional rhetoric, demonstrate a weak grasp of correct English grammar and spelling, and cite “truths” without providing evidence. Those who call the opposition into question use, by and large, a calm and editorial tone, correct English grammar and spelling, cite evidence with sources, and do not attempt to judge the actual parenting merits of either couple, about which there is very little available information. Now if I had had (tragically) to give up any one of my precious children (because of a heroin addiction, for example), I think I would much rather that she were raised by Jason than by “Sanity”. At least then I would know that she would grow up able to communicate effectively and express herself without stooping to the bombastic. Just sayin’.

In response to my previous post, I am not, in fact, on either side. Though I would like to note that the age of the couple did concern me, because when the children are in their teens, the grandparents will almost be in there 60’s. And looking after teens at that age isn’t exactly going to be easy. Plus, with that many people in the house already, how could they expect to pay for everything that two children will need? That was my common sense speaking, there. Oh, and my mother’s.
On a side note, I do think the children’s services were, in this case, much too brutal.
I just hope they’re (the children) provided with a loving home.
Btw, does anybody know if the grandparents were going to allow the mother back into the children’s lives?

I’m not entirely surprised this article left out a couple of things.

The 59-year-old grandfather, who has seven children of his own, told the Daily Telegraph: “There is no way we’d have allowed the children to be adopted if we’d known they were going to a gay couple.

(Quote from the Daily telegraph website)

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the The Roman Catholic Church in Scotland said the decision was “devastating” and would have a serious impact on the welfare of the children.

A spokesman added: “There is an overwhelming body of evidence showing that same-sex relationships are inherently unstable and reduce the life expectancy of those involved. (Of course, there still isn’t any evidence for this)

The British government has succeeded in social engineering the British out of Britain with its forced adoption and immigration policies.

How do you expect a socially engineered ethnic brit who doesn’t value their own blood ties because they have been ripped from their own family by the government to be raised preferably by gays, to believe that all are equal with the gay lifestyle being more equal and entitled to get along with immigrants who believe that blood family and tribe are everything?

What you will get is full scale social warfare where the immigrants will be feared and left alone whilst the ethnic brits are further preyed upon by the social engineers trying to stuff further and further abnormalities down their throats as nothing more then another version of normality.

Ask yourselves how many muslim kids have been adopted by gays to date?

Those ethnic brits with enough money and brains should grab their kids while they can and run.

Grandparents have every right to oppose gay adoption for their grandchildren. They love these grandchildren but don’t have the money to raise them. So they considered adoption. No one in their right mind would want to be raised by gays. It is worse than having a drug addicted parent. They are sexual deviants with terrible psychological problems.

Read some of the UK papers and you will discover that the grandparents already have kids to raise and felt unable to raise their grandchildren as well.They were fine with the idea of adoption until they found out it was a gay couple!What hypocrisy !!!
