I agree! All Free Hannah Overton supporters should read the Lost in Lima Ohio article, which speaks truth about murder victim, Andrew Burd! The truth has been hidden for too long behind the mean-spirited attacks by the Free Hannah Overton supporters. Thank you for the courageous few who are defending Andrew Burd, the true victim in the Hannah Overton and Larry Overton case.
Hannah Overton is the granddaughter of Heaven’s Gate Cult leader, Marshall Applewhite. I wonder how much influence this had on Hannah growing up. I am starting to agree that the Hannah and Larry Overton biological children should not be raised in such an environment. Plus, the Free Hannah Overton supporters appear to be so anti law-enforcement that they are starting to appear to be a cult. They have viciously and mean-spiritedly attacked anyone who defended Andrew Burd. Thank you Lost in Lima Ohio for taking a stand and supporting Andrew! and, thank you to StoptheACLU for also speaking out and to Blonde Sagacity.
Thank you, Lost in Lima Ohio, Blonde Audacity and Stop ACLU for caring about little Andrew Burd. The supposed “behavioral issues” of Andrew Burd that abc 20/20 mentions are ridiculous, and, thankfully, the jury saw through the defense team’s lies! ANY pre-schooler has “behavioral issues.” And abc 20/20’s remarks that those issues became “very severe” in the Overton home is telling: ANYONE, INCLUDING FREE HANNAH OVERTON SUPPORTERS, would have “behavioral issues” if they were 1) continually denied enough food/ were always hungry, especially if they saw that the other children were fed properly, 2) forced to sleep on raw, cold plywood that scratched their skin with every turn they made as they were trying to sleep, 3)knew that every move while they were in bed/ trying to sleep was being watched through cameras that a sadistic woman had installed above us, 4) abused by several means, especially with painful burns, and including watching some of their favorite things go up in flames, 5)experienced who knows what else Hannah did to this poor little boy, including constant emotional abuse. Remember, Andrew was a little pre-schooler, who was not equipped with the more sophisticated emotional coping skills that an adult or older child has learned. Anyone who is well-read or has ever taken a college psychology class knows that when children “act out,” that’s a way of coping with something upsetting that’s happening in their lives right now. Additionally, of course, the Overton friends would “witness” fabricated “emotional issues” with Andrew, since Hannah Overton had pointed them out! Think about it, Free Hannah Overton supporters: if I dramatically told many people how I was so concerned about specific things YOU were doing and all the stress those things were causing me, etc., etc., wouldn’t YOU begin to “witness” those things?
What it all comes down to is that little, defenseless Andrew Burd was abused, neglected, and died a slow, torturous death in the hands of a twisted, sadistic adopted mother, Hannah Overton. Andrew was the victim, FREE HANNAH OVERTON SUPPORTERS, NOT Hannah Overton. Hannah Overton still breathes and has enough to eat. Ironically, however, now Hannah Overton knows what it feels like to be watched constantly, from overhead cameras. Tragically, little Andrew will never have the chance to have a good, kind, true Christian adopted mother, because Hannah murdered him.

Thank you for posting information on convicted murderer Hannah Overton. Lost in Lima Ohio has a second article which just came out today on Hannah Overton. All Free Hannah Overton supporters should read these articles. They are very informative. Thank you again for taking up for Andrew Burd!
If the Free Hannah Overton facebook and website are wanting to bring up Andrew’s troubled past, then they should also be bringing up Hannah Overton’s family history. Hannah Overton’s father, who helped raise Hannah, founded and was the Pastor for Calvary Church (same church as Calvary of the Coastlands) on Ayers Street in Corpus Christi. Hannah’s pastor father murdered a teenage girl by bludgeoning her to death with a crowbar and dumping her body by Bob Hall Pier (you can see this pier in the background of some of the photos where Hannah is posing on the beach), and he was convicted for the murder. When Hannah’s father, Pastor Bennie Saenz, was charged with this young girl’s murder, he made up an abduction story to explain her blood in the church van (he claimed he and the murder victim were both kidnapped, but only she was killed while he was unscathed). The authorities didn’t buy this story, especially after he confessed, but Calvary Church did buy his lies- after all, he was a man of God, a Pastor, and Calvary church rallied to Saenz’ defense. I heard from a reliable sourse that Hannah Overton, when she filled out her adoption application to adopt Andrew, wrote that her father was unjustly convicted of murder. THAT is the mentality of Hannah Overton and the Calvary Church. But, it doesn’t end there. Hannah Overton’s grandfather was Marshall Applewhite, the Heaven’s Gate Cult leader, who led 22 people to suicidal death by drinking poison in San Diego, California. I wonder how much Rod Carver, the current Pastor of Calvary Church of the Coastlands and Hannah’s most ardent supporter, and others, are leaving out in their continued misleading efforts to free Hannah. I do know they have raised $ 700,000 from naive, kind-hearted Christians who haven’t heard the whle story. So, sure, Free Hannah Overton supporters, continue to slam Andrew for his past. Just be sure to tell the entire story… Sharon Hamil’s testimony (his only foster mother who said Andrew was a wonderful child with no eating disorders for the 18 months she continuously fostered him), Dr. Cortes’ last medical report finding no behavioral or physical problems, the testimony of world expert, Dr Alexandre Rotta, who found this was child abuse, the video statement of Hannah Overton admitting to making Andrew sleep on plywood and giving him zatarains, and the testimony of a highly-respected Medical Examiner who autopsied Andrew and found burns, abrasions, a life threatening head injury caused by blunt force trauma to the head and ruled Andrew’s death a homicide (not a suicide, not from natural causes, but a HOMICIDE)with the cause of death acute sodium poisoning and secondary cause of death, blunt force head trauma. Incidentally, he also found jalapeno peppers in Andrew’s inflamed stomach.
