But there was no escape–no chance to leave my area. I was boxed in. I couldn’t join the line of latecomers.
People chanted, “Let us in.” People chanted, “We have tickets.” People chanted “we are purple,” waving their precious 4×6 inch tickets in the air.
And then they just started begging and shouting. Let us in. We have tickets. We’ve been here for hours. Let us in.
And then it was noon. And everything stopped.
And then a 21-gunner of deafening percussion.
And then, shear, crushing disappointment descends over the crowd. Unlike the smiles on all the faces you walked by on, say, election night, or in the metro last night, this crowd had to summon up all they had left after multiple hours in the cold to give a tepid ovation to the inauguration of a new president.
So many of the Elite Obama Donors arrived at Dulles International Airport in their personal private jets that an active runway at Dulles International Airport had to be shut down and then converted into a make-do parking lot.
Surprisingly no PETA, Global Warming, nor Code Pink protesters are seen as the Elite Obama Donors arrive in chauffeur driven stretch limousines dressed in their finest furs. Their gilded Obama Invitations apparently lost in the mail result in PETA, Global Warming and Code Pink Protesters being no-shows as the fur-laden Elite Obama Donors arrive in their chauffeur driven stretch limousines.

Well, be fair, members of the politburo didn’t have to wait in line for bread and medicine. They rode in limos, dined on caviar and filet, drank Chateau Latour. The rest of us little people wait in line, hoping for a crust of bread of a lump of coal to warm our family. Obama and his criminal friends will take. You will give or you will go to a reeducation camp.
