Really? Are you SERIOUS with such a stupid statement? NO jobs created by “businesses” are ethical or legal? NONE? What do YOU do for a living, fool? Are you engaged in illegal and unethical work? If so WHY are you?

Since you apparently haven’t noticed, let me point out to you that governments have been creating jobs since the Roman Empire (and probably before). Ranting that it should be illegal for someone from Big Labor to serve in government is like saying that someone from a Large Investment Bank should be barred from the Treasury — in a word, absurd. Our way of life is threatened if we do not ensure a large, vibrant middle class in America — that means you, by the way, or you wouldn’t be writing this blog. Think more clearly next time about what is really important about managing job creation from the Labor Department. There is a lot to legitimately critique because Ms. Solis does indeed have a lot to learn about her new role.

So, tell me when was the last time that businesses created jobs that were ethical and legal? I’m not a big proponent of government creating jobs, but these are not normal times and it seems like businesses these days create jobs that we the taxpayer end up bailing out. What Solis is stating is that if the private sector can’t produce ethical, sustaining jobs that are viable, then the government will step in. If you don’t want Uncle Sam creating jobs, then private sector, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!
