Sarah Palin Strikes Back Against Media Bias
Posted on January 8, 2009
One of the things you quickly learn when you visit the Palins is that the legend that has been created around who they are and how they live is no myth. It appears to be absolutely real and everything about them seems 100% sincere. From the stuffed hunting trophies on the wall, to the Track’s military photo by the TV set, to Piper’s crayon school projects on the kitchen cabinets, everything is exactly as you imagine it might be.
What was particularly valuable about the perspective I had was that, I am not Charlie Gibson, Matt Lauer or Greta Van Susteren (who I understand now gets her mail delivered to the Palin home); the conductors of the three most prominent interviews done in the Wasilla house on the frozen lake at the end of the drive that has the sign “Palins” posted on a tree at the entrance. Unlike them, I am virtually unknown nationally and there was absolutely no reason for anything to be done differently as a “show” for us. We saw the genuine Sarah Palin and it is patently obvious that this is the only one that exists. She is the real deal.
As a former TV sportscaster and radio talk show host, I have interviewed a lot big-time “celebrities,” and I can honestly say that, even though you could argue that Sarah Palin was the most prominent I have ever spoken to one-on-one, she was also by far the nicest, most sincere and, seemingly, honest subject that I have ever questioned.

Well, it’s good to know that they’re genuinely insane.
Sarah is as fake as a $3 bill. When she isn’t using false innuendo and demonizing her opponents she constantly looks like she is gonna break into tears. “Oh, it’s so hard. They were so unfair to me.” Boo hoo. What a cry-baby. If she’s the biggest celebrity you’ve interviewed then you’ve got a long way to go. No one will remember her come 2010. She’s nothing more than a rabble-rouser.
Anything more than asking “What are the ingredients for your fruit-cake?” are gotcha questions to Palin.
Put away her moose gun got out her shotgun becuase the vultures of the liberal news media are her next target
Sarah Palin has no right to criticize Caroline Kennedy. Ms. Kennedy has a rich heritage. What kind of heritage does Palin have?
Media Bias IS a reality, especially when you have a public who does nothing but pander to a particular bias. I blame this evolution on ignorance and apathy on the part on the US electorate. If you want to see less bias, look within yourself, are your views REASONABLE?!
Governor Sarah Palin was and still is the target of vicious, unfair and unreasonable personal attacks and character assassination by the news media and others. Just take a look at the comments posted here. Charlie Gibson asking those gotcha questions with his half-glasses on the tip of his nose gave the impression of looking down on Governor Palin as if she was somehow below him. Katie Couric and Matt Lauer were no better. Her family members weren’t spaired either. These left-wing media elitists just make me sick. As far as Mrs. Palin criticizing Kennedy she didn’t, here is what she really said, “In fact, I consider Ms. Kennedy qualified and experienced, and she could serve New York well.”
Besides why should Caroline Kennedy get a pass or be handled with kid gloves? From what I have seen she has trouble putting two words together without saying “you know” or dodging questions. Rich heritage indeed. Why? Because she’s loaded with dough? Because her father was murdered? Or is it because she is all that is left of the Camalot myth? What qualifications does she have? Has she ever held public office? Caroline has served on the boards of non-profit organizations but she’s not even a “community organizer”. Or is it because her name is Kennedy? Face it her heritage is growing up in the lap of luxury as a member of the elite privileged class. She comes from American “royalty” were as Mrs. Palin comes for a typical middle class American family.
It’s funny that the Web site “How Obama got elected” is splashed across the screen, because McCain choosing a borderline retarded, wildly inarticulate, serially dishonest religious nutcase as a running mate is almost certainly what sealed the election for B.O.
There’s no “unfair bias” against Palin. Thinking conservatives are appalled by, and embarrassed for, this idiot. I realize that as someone whose functional education lies at about a seventh-grade level, she has natural appeal to the writers of this site because they identify with that. Nevertheless, the only way she’ll stop being “abused” is to withdraw from politics and start diddling herself with a Pentecostal dildo 24/7.
