Hamas’ Az-Zahar: Kill The Jewish Children

Posted on January 6, 2009

I wonder how the Hamas/Islamist apologists on the Left will spin this?

[Hamas spokesman Mahmoud Az-Zahar] leader called to murder Israelis and Jews worldwide, including children. “The Israelis have sentenced their children to death… They have legitimized the killing of their people all over the world,” he said. Hamas’ platform calls for all Jews to convert to Islam or be killed, based on an Islamic saying (Hadith), and the group has not refrained from targeting children in the past.

Hamas will destroy synagogues and Jewish schools as well, Zahar said, just as Israel destroyed mosques in Gaza. Israel bombed several mosques used to store rockets and ammunition.

The problem with the Left, besides the fact that they like to take the side of people like Az-Zahar, is that they always believe this kind of rhetoric is simply empty bluster, when it is anything but. Islamists are as serious about killing the unbeliever, and particularly Israelites, as Democrats are about making sure that abortions are easy to get and paid for by the government.

Honestly, if you hear any “spin” from the far-left on this, I would be very interested in hearing/reading it. I am tired of the media being controlled by the left. Very few people with morals and ethics have the courage to speak above the din for fear of being chastised. I have stopped listening to their rhetoric on the TV and on the radio, utilizing my right to push the “Off” button. I’d rather get my information from places where doing the right thing is more important than doing what feels good.

Hamas is evil. We all know this. The problem with the whole thing is that two wrongs don’t make a right. This is evidenced by the Israelis bombing the hell out of hell Gaza, only instigating further retaliation from Hamas. It is never-ending. My whole feeling is: I hope they succeed in blowing each other up. Maybe THEN we will FINALLY have peace in the Middle East.

There is no solution to this problem. Peace talks don’t work. You cannot reason with an Arab. They are still a tribal people, holding on to grudges thousands of years old. Bombing them doesn’t work. They will never back down. Their creativity increases as does the superior fire power of their opponent. All of these world leaders cannot see that there is no solution?

My husband (an American citizen now) is Palestinian (Catholic) from Lebanon. He still has family in the area. There is a problem here beyond Hamas vs. Israel. There are people in the middle who don’t have anything to do with this mess. That is the unfortunate part of this whole thing, really. If Hamas/Israel want to blow each other up, perhaps we should just build a force field around them and let ‘em go at it.

    ttakli,

Sometimes, the “right thing” is courage. I don’t mean the kind that that idiot on the news used to say when he signed off at night. I mean the courage to fight evil. It takes two things to do that. A moral compass that tunes out the fashionable moral equivalency that the Left so dearly loves, and the fortitude to risk death and to kill in the hope of a brighter better day to come, when the evil that is [Hitler, Hamas, Hirohito] has been defeated.

Hamas is the evil here, Israel is not. Not every act of violence is equivalent. The murderer and his executioner are not the same. The only way you can say “two wrongs don’t make a right” is if you no longer know right from wrong, or you never did.

believe me, most of us on the left have no patience for the violent rhetoric of hamas, and the reality of what it is causing in europe as violence against jews spreads.

you should quit trying to divide those of us in the west, and instead focus on achieving a lasting peace and victory.

To the one who posted as GWB…

Join the sheeple of anti zionists, rather than the real world.

Sept 12, 2005 Israel left Gaza. Was going to let them build their own country…

The very next day looters tore apart the greenhouses left for them.

Within the month Hamas was lobing rockets.

Dec 26, 2005 Hamas was lobing rockets at children. With no response from Israel.

They made their own bed. The people in Gaza who continue to allow Hamas to lob rockets out of their backyards. The people in Gaza who continue to allow Hamas to store weapons in their Mosques, schools. The people in Gaza who continue to allow Hamas to allow members of Hamas to hide in Hospitals and Police Stations.

When you biovac an active combatant, you become a military installation.

But you do see the results of decades of moral blindness instruction in GWB’s post. Everything is everything. Any violence is the same as any other. Moral equivalency. [edited] that passes for “enlightenment”.

Ghandi was wrong, you know. An eye for an eye doesn’t make the whole world blind. In ancient cultures it kept order in the absence of elaborate machineries of state. In the modern world, it has toppled dictators who gassed millions of innocents, saved nations from certain enslavement, and freed people from murderous tyrants. I know that you hippies constantly hear Beatles songs in your head and think that if the world could just smoke out together they would totally mellow. The Western world has given Peace a chance, and found that our enemies DO NOT WANT IT!

The reason the Left cannot accept this premise is that it requires something they lack; COURAGE. It takes a real man to step up and do the violence which protects your metrosexual hide. No one WANTS to do it. Thank God or whatever you believe in that there are such men in the world.

This is a bit frightening. Just as the left has their extremists, so does the right.

A 220-pound father beats the [edited] out of his 75-pound son, telling him that if he hadn’t lied and hid his progress report and gotten all F’s on his report card, this wouldn’t be happening to him.

What Hamas is doing is evil.
What Israel is doing is wrong.

Just because you are Jewish doesn’t make you holier than the next guy, nor right. The Jews performed a travesty when they chased thousands of Palestinians out of their homes and ways of life, making them unwanted refugees throughout the world. They wanted what was deemed as “theirs” by God thousands of years earlier. The Palestinians are sick of being treated like animals, and their (using generalization here; not meaning all) behavior is a result of this.

I am sick of seeing big, beefed-up “guys” getting tired of the scrawny “guy” fighting back one too many times and then beating the [edited] out of him with his superior muscle power.

It doesn’t make sense. It is not right. And it is morally wrong.

And it is VERY morally wrong for me to say I hope they wipe each other out. I am looking forward to the day where Israel/Palestine is one big giant smoking hole in the ground.

you should quit trying to divide those of us in the west, and instead focus on achieving a lasting peace and victory.

With all due respect, Anon, those of you on the Left have been doing exactly that for 8 straight years, and with about 1000% more viotrol then I provide.

Welcome to the Real World, ttakli. But, you show the typical disdain and bias for the Jews and Israel, with none of the same condecension for the Palestinians, who have been given chance after chance to live in peace, but, rather then attempt to build something, they say they will kill children. On purpose. Any comment on that?

    tllakkaliiiiikli,

You still have a faulty moral compass. You are equating child abuse with self defense. It demonstrates that you lack the capacity to understand concepts like right, wrong, and truth. You are a-moral. Your lack the insight required to recognize what is right. Your life must be frightening and awful. The so-called Palstinians have rejected every peace proposal that did not include Israel wiped off the map. Land for peace? Israel gave land, but got rocket fire in return.

By the way, why do the terrorists have rockets? I mean why are they called “rockets” instead of missles, which is what they are? Maybe the press wants us to think they are shooting firecrackers at Israel?

So, should the Jews just allow that many of their family and friends will die each day? Bury their dead and keep quiet because the terrorists don’t have tanks? I guess if you don’t have tanks and aircraft you can’t REALLY kill anyone, right? I guess those Jews aren’t really dead if they are killed with inferior weapons. Maybe the Holocaust really didn’t happen, either?

What’s your alternate solution? The Jews should just move back to Europe where most of them came from? That is Ahmedinijhad’s final solution -er I mean solution. You want them to pack up and move back to towns like Dachau, Germany or Bzezkina, Poland (You know the latter as “Birkenau”). Would that satisfy you?

After reading most of these comments, It literally made me ill. All these arm chair politicians have the answer to all the worlds ills. The Jews are Gods chosen people and because of this the Arab world will never win in their fight against Israel, just as the Arab world lost to Israel in the beginning of history.Whether you believe or not, you will find out on judgement day.By the way Tllakkaliiiikii,
you shouldn’t use such big words without telling them what a dictionary is.

Sorry but you have been conned by media manipulation and spin and a very poor translation of what he actually said on the TV.
    You have been shortchanged.
I suggest you go back to all of the media sources and ask them for the original Arabic text of his conversation on Al Aqsa TV.
Hamas rockets have not killed Israeli children, but israeli missiles and bunker busters have massacred more than 200 palestinian children.
