Obama Means Racism is Dead; Where’s the Change Though?
Posted on January 5, 2009
I have to commend President-Elect Barack Obama, I really do, not only has he crushed his rivals in the Democratic party and then hired them on to his cabinet but he has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that racism in America is truly dead. Having an African-American in the White House proves this nation, that once used Africans as a trading chip, is truly great.
While I am certain there are small bands of Americans who, for whatever unwarranted reason, do not care for African-Americans I think it is very safe to say they will be mitigated even more in the coming days, weeks, months, and years.
While this truly is a historical moment I have to wonder. What is Barack Obama going to do that President Bush didn’t already do? President Bush pushed this country extremely hard into socialism. I would take a gander that President Bush’s father’s old boss (Ronald Reagan) is, for all intents and purposes, a tornado in his coffin right now. What are we going to get with Barack Obama? No one really knows.

I’d have to disagree. Obama is very much proof that racism is alive and well.
When an unqualified man gets the job because of his skin color…that’s all the proof I need that racism is thriving.
Obama ran a better campaign than McCain. McCain played the Palin card wrong going to the liberal media to start her out when he should have gone to the friendly local media and had her build from there. His bigger mistake was backing the bailout of Wallstreet which was a more liberal idea.
He lost the rich which favored Obama or did not vote and that is very unusual for a Republican to do. You figure out why.
Still racism is alive and well in the U.S. though morphed in its form or the race card would not be effective.
