“Death has become an industry… we want death as much as you desire life”

So says a new video released by Hamas, in which Palestinians brag about using women, children, and the elderly as human shields to bring about death and destruction to Israel:

For the Palestinian people, death has become an industry
In which excel the women and all the people of this land:The older people excel, the jihadists excel
And the children excel
Consequently, [the Palestinians] created a human shield of women, children
Older people and jihadists
Against the Zionist bombing machine
That is telling the Zionist enemy
We want death just as much as you desire life.
It doesn’t really get much more evil than that, does it?
It’s interesting that liberals continually defend Islam as a religion of peace. Yet over and over again, we see Islamofascists boasting about killing infidels, murdering innocents, and using women and children as human shields. I don’t know of any other religion that glorifies death so much. And they not only glorify death, but look at it as an industry, something to proudly sign your children up for. How can you honestly look at a religion so steeped in death, and not see a religion of hate?

Just because he is saying it in public, stridently, and would be prepared to repeat it, doesn’t mean he actually believes it or that it’s true!
My Iranian friend Ali told me that we should not believe the Ahmadinejad circumlocution “Death to Israel” or “Death to America” because this is a common way of expressing displeasure in Iran.
For example, if you are stuck in traffic you might say “Death to Traffic!”; or indeed if you chip a tooth on a small stone in your rice (something that Iranian shopkeepers regularly add!) You might say “Death to Stones” or even “Death to Rice” (not the same word in Iranian as the Condi’s) or even “Death to Teeth”.
The important thing is that the element being wished dead must never be something microcosmic and particular, but a macroscopic class of objects that fully justifies and deserves your curse!
If you want to know how to say it in the original, the expression is “It-Farc”, so you would say “It-Farc Congress” or “It-Farc New York Times” (although this latter rather violates the principle of all-inclusiveness; saying “It-Farc MSM” is probably more purist!)
So you see we shouldn’t worry too much about these blowhards, and should probably reply to their dire threats by saying “It-Farc hot-air Balloons”

I can’t decide whether you are joking or a complete fool. In any case, you are an apologist for a vile and genocidal death-cult masquerading as a religion. I wonder if you’d be so glib if it was your family living under threat of being hit by randomly-fired mortars and rockets.
