We need Palin & Jindahl types who exude confidence and youth with real Conservative principles and have actual demonstrated achievements to show. We need a real statesman that will clean up the mess from the recession recovery process of over spending and debt. Someone with a plan to capture back manufacturing and exportable products when we lead the world out of this mess. No Representation in NorCal Newt is out of touch with todays electorate. I always felt he was a big phoney...especially after he and Bob Dole caved into Bill Clinton following the 1995 "budget crisis." He has always wanted to be liked by the elite and this has clouded his "conservative" thinking. Remember how he whined when Clinton made him sit in the back of Air Force One? Some leader. Of course, lets not forget him kissing Hillary's ass on education reform. Newt, you talk a good game, but some of us see right through you. Let's stop with the old thinking and find new names to represent the GOP. I even wonder if Palin is damaged goods because of her association with McCain's failed 2008 election. Personally I believe we should be putting our effort on Bobby Jindal. Old names will not move the GOP forward. I know since technically it is still 2008 we tend to be thinking like it is now (because it is now) instead of the future. But the future will demand new names, names that most of us are currently unfamiliar with. Lets look ahead not the to the past. Newt needs to be history.
