William, if the GOP sniffs failed to conclude that Obama is not a U.S. citizen, what makes you think that a gaggle og Internet noisemakers have any legitimacy in pursuing this avenue? It is sheer resentment. It goes hand in hand with the bleatings of people like AJ Strata up there, who refer to “the Obama administration” even though there is, as yet, no such entity. Wingnuts are desperate to write the man off before he even has a chance to screw up and intent on painting him as a failure well befoe Inauguration Day.

Anyone with a real sense of patriotism would stand behind their leader, no matter who he is or how funny his middle name looks, until he does, in fact, prove incompetent. And he well might, but all of this noise between 11/4/08 and 1/20/09 is nothing but high-octane resentment. Deal with it, folks, Obama is going to be the president of the United States..

Where is this evidence of Obama “spending wacko amounts of money to fight in court”? As far as I know, all the suits that have been filed against Obama on this matter have been given little attention by Obama. That appears to be antithetical to the notion that he’s spending any money to fight this in court, much less “wacko amounts.”

A certification of live birth gives you all the information you would need to determine if Obama is a natural born citizen, and again, there is absolutely no reason to doubt the veracity of the information contained on that document. Whatever information that would be included on a long form birth certificate would be cumulative and unnecessary. I see no legitimate reason why he should be compelled to display that extra information.

Standing

According to Black’s Law Dictionary, “standing” to sue means that the party has sufficient stake – that the party is sufficiently affected – in an otherwise justiciable controversy to obtain judicial resolution of that controversy. “Standing” is satisfied if the plaintiff has a legally protectable and tangible interest at stake in the litigation.

Plaintiffs in Broe v. Reed claim standing pursuant to the authorization given them by the legislature of Washington in RCW 29A.68.020(2). This statute creates standing for Plaintiffs to challenge the election of a candidate who has been elected but was ineligible at the time of his election to run for the office.

The duties of Washington’s Secretary of State

The Secretary of State is declared, under RCW 29A.04.230 to be “the chief election officer for all federal, state, county, city, town and district elections.” The Secretary of State is “required by law” to . . . coordinate those state election activities required by federal law.

Wilton, Obama has NOT released his birth certificate. Now, if you read my original post, I am 95% sure he is eligible. But, it is rather strange that not only is Obama not releasing the BC, he is spending wacko amounts of money to fight in court. He is just feeding the circus, and it makes people wonder why he won’t release it.

And, as far as wacko’s go, Saturnalia, the opinion of someone whose party and peeps have been the major force between Trutherism, and have engaged in enormous amounts of conspiracy theories, doesn’t mean that much till you clean your own house.

Why are you branded as loons? Because you have all the information available to you that clearly shows that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961 and is thus a “natural born citizen” of the United States. You have no legitimate reason to doubt the veracity of the Certification of Live Birth that was posted on fightthesmears.com and verified by factcheck.org, you have no legitimate reason to doubt the veracity of the newspaper archive that noted his birth in 1961, and you have no hard information that even suggests he is not a natural born citizen. All the evidence points toward Barack Obama being a natural born citizen, and yet you still deny-deny-deny. As inconvenient as it may be for you, you cannot make a serious argument that Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen.

For one thing, no one’s giving anyone on the right a pass on the “WHAT DID HE KNOW AND WHEN?” stupidity. This is nothing more than a spiteful effort on the part of people whose candidate was shellacked to drag the next president through the mud. How very American: “If out guy can’t win, then piss on everyone!”

That said, birds of a feather flock together. Any opinion offered on this blog, for example, is likely to be discarded before its merits are fully evaluated, because this place is full of crazies, liars, ignoramuses, and the hopelessly and easily deceived. SO if you expect to be taken seriously, don’t preach from a nutbag pulpit.

The consequences of the Supreme Court declining to address the US Constitution’s “natural born citizen” clause on the morning of Monday 12/15/08 — thereafter enabling the College of Electors to transform the crisis from “law” to “political and Congressional”, leading to the ‘inauguration’ of Mr. Obama, are nothing less than catastrophic. Lawsuits by members of the military challenging his ‘commander in chief’ status are INEVITABLE. And a military takeover to oust the “usurper” may be inevitable as well. Where is the media? This is no “tin foil hat” joke.
