Obama’s Birth Certificate: Comments

As I have written, I am 95% sure that Obama is a natural born US citizen. I have my own little (conspiracy) theory on why he refuses to show his actual birth certificate to The People, which I’ll get to at the end. But, here are two comments that I felt a need to reply to, but, I am not going to spend a lot of time on it

Barack Obama doesn’t need to show his birth certificate to any of you. IT HAS BEEN SHOWN TO THOSE THAT NEED TO VARIFY IT IS LEGAL.
But, now on the other hand, do you know the certificate sent home from ANY hospital IS NOT LEGAL?????? Of course not. You’re so stupid and like all stupid people you don’t bother to check it out. You must have a STATE CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH, from your State capital, (not the hospital certificate) to get any legal document like a Passport. Check it out yourself.
Clara: President elect Obama is NOT going to lower himself to SOME peoples level. He’s already given those that needed legal documents, what they need.
If those that doubt him want to leave this Country, I’m sure the rest of us will get along just fine!
This is ONE of the main reason people are leaving the REPUBLICAN PARTY faster than they can be counted. Keep it up guys, the party is only 20 % of the nations voters. It won’t be long and there won’t be any Republican party!
Getting beyond the fact that a birth certificate is valid legal proof to get a driver’s license, to get a passport, and for an I-9 (for those welfare liberals out there, that is a form you fill out when you start a job), I find it truly hilarious that liberals, who whined non-stop for 8 years about the Supreme Court stopping all further recounts in Florida because of the actual Florida state and constitutional law, yet, asking the president-elect to pony up a simple document, one that should be easy to produce, causes them to freak out. Let’s look at something, shall we?
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Those are the words Obama will soon recite. He has stated something similar when joining the Senate.
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States. (Article II Section I)
So, let’s see. Bill says the birth certificate has been shown to those who matter. Actually, no. The People matter. If The People are asking to see this document, does he not have the obligation to provide it, to prove to The People that he is eligible?
Clara states that Obama is not going to lower himself down to our peasant level. Interesting. How much you want to bet that Clara has complained about Bush being an imperial president, yet, she seems to be fine with deeming Obama better then the disgusting masses. Maybe she should read the 10th Amendment.
Why is it too much to ask for Obama to show us the birth certificate? Why is it out of bounds? The Founders did not write the Constitution to put elected officials, even the President, above the masses, but, to make the elected officials responsible to the People. So, to have people of a party that went absolutely ape shat for 8 years over, well everything, including the 2000 election, the 2004 election, they were the primary purveyors of the 9/11 Truth movement, etc, and so on, to tell us that He (I think we are now supposed to refer to Obama in the imperial was, you know, capitals and such) need not show us a simple document is beyond absurd.
Oh, and my conspiracy theory on why he doesn’t want to show it? Well, it is really more of a thought, but, what if he was not actually born in 1961, but earlier? He would still be considered a natural born citizen, but, it would mean that his mother was underage when he was born, and perhaps he wants to protect her reputation. I’ll stop there.
P.S. This issue has created a yawning gap between many on the Right. Perhaps there are some on the right who are going a little too far on this subject, which makes others on the right (I’m not going to link them and start a blog war) refer to these folks as being in the same league as Truthers and Trig-erists. I disagree. Barry’s certificate of live birth, which was apparently printed recently, is not the same thing as the actual, original birth certificate.
This is not like Trutherism, which requires a belief that people could wire up the Twin Towers with explosives and no one would narc or notice. This is more like what happened with Saddam. 17 UN Resolutions, including the final one 1441, and all Saddam had to do was allow full and unfettered access to certain facilities. Instead, he said “nope, piss off.” Whether there were or weren’t WMD or WMD programs is not the point: it was the denial of Res. 1441. Had Saddam complied, no war. It’s not too much to ask for a simple document, is it? And Obama’s stonewalling is what creates the issue. This is something he must prove per the Constitution of The United States of America.

The choice facing the Supreme Court boils down to civil unrest to protect the Constitution or civil war to proceed to ‘inaugurate’ a non-”natural born citizen”.
Obama is definitely hiding something. Just like that “intellectual” Kerry was hiding something when he refused to release his military records. Turns out Kerry’s military records showed that he made lower grade at Yale than “stupid” Bush.
Anyway, I wouldn’t put it past Obama to run for President knowing he wasn’t Constitutionally qualified. He’s a scumbag like Edwards.

It is my understanding that Obama’s mother was still considered ‘underage’ to pass on her citizen ship according to this law;
“Birth Abroad to One Citizen and One Alien Parent in Wedlock: A child born abroad to one U.S. Citizen parent and one alien parent acquires U.S. Citizenship at birth under Section 301(g) INA provided the citizen parent was physically present in the U.S. For the time period required by the law applicable at the time of the child’s birth. (For birth on or after November 14, 1986, a period of five years physical presence, two after the age of fourteen is required. For birth between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, a period of ten years, five after the age of fourteen are required for physical presence in the U.S. To transmit U.S. Citizenship to the child.”

Stanley Ann Dunham was 18 when Obama was born and unable to pass on her citizenship to him.

I also have seen where there are records of Stanley Ann being registered for school in the state of Washington the same month Obama was born and the prior year, August of 1960, it is documented that she started school late that year. I agree that that may actually be when he was born which would actually make her only 17 at the time of his birth.
There are a few more ‘conspiracies’ that his father isn’t actually who he claims he is either.
The problem is…none of this will be put to rest if and until he shows the 1961 long form type written document. Hawaii claims “he is in accordance to the law” but that doesn’t say “he was born in Hawaii.” The law at the time of Obama’s birth in Hawaii allowed for anyone to get a BC even if you were born someplace else as long as you lived in Hawaii for at least a year prior.
Anyway, I could go on and on as to why I doubt this man. I am sure there will be books written about it all someday.

How can you say Obama has already shown his birth certificate – no government agency has claimed to have seen it – not the FBI, the CIA,Homeland Security, FEC, etc. No one has seen for sure where he was born!

It’s obvious that he’s hiding something. Whether it is that his mother was underage or something bigger, we may never know. But, I agree wholeheartedly that we deserve to see it. The fact that he won’t show it just fuels the fire of these conspiracies. Just show it Obama and live up to these claims of transparent government. And, while youre at it submit your campaign to an audit. Maybe then, we would believe in your transparency. Just sayin…
Since the Constitution states what it states, why doesn’t the state of Hawaii which much follow that Constitution release the document? The Constitution takes precedence over privacy laws and the Constitution makes it pretty clear that the data on birth must be known with regards to the President.
As for your own theory, the birth announcement in the Hawaii paper pretty much eliminates it since it was published in 1961.
Jeff, could it be possible back in 1961 to place a birth notice that was fake in the papers? It wouldn’t be the first time. This was a common practice back in the day for births that showed that people weren’t actually married at the time the baby was conceived, or born. Or underage.

Most of the electorate is so dumb they thought Obama was going to pay their mortgage and give them free gasoline. Why would the MTV-addled morons who voted for this guy and think that Lil’ Wayne is a really important artist concern themselves with the integrity of the Constitution? They thought Habeas Corpus applied to enemy combatants captured on the battlefield. They thought the Geneva Convention applies to terrorists and saboteurs which it specifically excludes. They believe whatever MTV and John Stewart tell them is true.
Every word out of their mouths in defense of Obama is like the squeals and barks of animals or the insensible mentally disabled. Hope. Change. They cannot tell you what Obama has accomplished, nor do they care. They love the “leader” because he is black and “hip”. Law does not apply to the dear leader. He is required to show you nothing, prove nothing to you. He simply exists, and you simply accept. He was a brilliant scholar even though he wrote nothing, published nothing, and refused to release his school transcipts. He is a patriot, even though he would not serve his country in uniform. He is a Christian, even though his church was an unending hate-fest led by an unrepentant hate monger. Though his friends were terrorists, don’t call him Hussein.
They were quite free under the last Constitutional President, George Bush. They will look back and realize too late that they lost their rights under Obama, the dear leader, who was unqualified, unprepared, and ineligible from the very beginning.
There is an issue that is more important than a birth certificate….the fact that THREE presidential candidates on the ballot in every state in the union are of questionable validity of constitutional qualification including one born in Nicaragua. The real issue is protecting the Constitution from change. Next thing you know there will be the introduction of another Constitutional Amendment to make the “natural born” phrase go away….and then there will be hell to pay!

It doesn’t matter that we see his birth certificate or not. Obama, by his own admission, is clearly NOT a “natural born citizen.”
The whole birth certificate controversy is a red herring designed to keep you all from the obvious!
In the Supreme Court ruling on Perkins v. ELG, 307 U.S. 325 (1939), gives examples of what a citizen of the US is and what a native-born citizen (or natural born citizen) of the US is.
1) a foreigner parent (Sweden) and 2) a US citizen parent had a child in the U.S. The SCOTUS ruled that the child, Elg, was a citizen of the United States.
Not a natural born citizen, but just a citizen.
Contrast this in which the SCOTUS continued its explanation in Perkins v. ELG, that a child born of 1) A U.S. Parent and 2) a naturalized (by U.S. statute) parent qualified the child to be a natural born citizen.
BIG difference!
Obama’s Father was NEVER a U.S. Citizen, ergo, according to a previous ruling by the Supreme Court, Barack H. Obama, Jr. IS NOT a “natural born citizen.”
That is why, the birth certificate issue is just a red-herring to throw you all off the trail…

As for the birth certificate and President Elect Obama’s making it this far-why would we think that any functionary along the way would have said, “OK, senator, you need to show me your birth certificate.” ? There is no such office that is supposed to do that. Even the FEC probably isn’t supposed to…so who is? Apparently no one.
Strange that ‘applying’ for the most powerful position on earth requires less vetting and official record requirements than for the rest of us low lifes applying for a job, joining the military, drivers license, whatever.
I think this whole controversy is stupid. Officials of the State of Hawaii have already attested to having seen Obama’s vault certificate. However, my question to “Bill” would be, who has seen Obama’s certificate and verified it? And how do you know this? Do you have a link proving your assertion? Or are you just making crap up like liberals so often do?
Antimedia — yes, the Officials of the State of Hawaii have seen Obama’s birth certificate, but they didn’t answer the question… “where does it say he was born?”. Hawaiian state law allows foreign born people to register with the state and obtain a “born in Hawaii” designation, meaning that piece of paper is next to worthless. These Officials said:
1. We’ve seen the birth certificate
2. We can’t give it to you
3. This is standard procedure, nothing special is going on here.
They said ZERO about where Obama was born.

I have been a Christian for thirty years. The God whom I serve, Jesus Christ, is The One who never deals with the symptom of a situation, He always goes right straight to the root. The birth certificate deal, natural born or not, born in Kenya or born in the USA, are simply symptoms. The root is what triggers our President elect to have 20 lawsuits at the cost of one million dollars served upon himself in order to evade and conceal, instead of producing a 10.00 dollar document that would squelch all lawsuits once and forever more, silence the blogosphere, and stop the bickering amongst right wing nuts and liberal kooks.
He is under obligation as an official elected who serves the public, to make this document public! No more and no less.
No one can convince me that in an era of extreme documentation, several web site images of a Hawaii document and a group of individuals posting jpeg photos of a certification of live birth is sufficient proof for the eligibility to the presidency of this great nation! If I was to need a driver’s license and needed my birth certificate, I could not guide the officials to a web site to look at the image of my birth certificate, as valid proof? Could you, or would you?
Mute silence has been the case now since August 21. A leader, rather, has the duty to wholeheartedly, openly, transparently, and forthrightly display the needed documentation to the public whom he will serve, in order to gain its trust in the integrity of his leadership. This type of ongoing chronic silence begins to have the smell of fraud.

Remember it is the Constitution, the document they are so blatently ignoring, that keeps people from breaking into your home when-ever they please without a warrant or throwing you in jail without any kind of due process, that enables you to make comments on all of these websites, that permits you to protect your home with a gun,
