When was the last time you read the Constitution? If you try again you&#039;ll notice that the relevant sections make no mention of the word &quot;citizen&quot;. Instead, it uses the term &quot;person&quot;. There are thousands of precedents that make it clear that these sections apply to any living person within the US&#039;s jurisdiction. 

It&#039;s one thing when you argue that people detained overseas aren&#039;t within our jurisdiction. I disagree, but it&#039;s a defensible position. You sound like a complete idiot, though, when you claim that the constitution doesn&#039;t protect legal U.S. residents.</description>
