It’s just not accurate to say that no one reads the old bat. Her embed work is on a site that gets 700,000 individual readers a day. Even if she only ended up with 1/4 of that 200,000 she is getting more than some major newspapers!

The reasons given by the military do not appear to me to be mutually exclusive. With “limited resources” why would you use them on a dimwit that nobody reads? The second reason justifies the first.

I think the military made a good decision about not letting her anywhere near the troops.

I agree that the military should NOT put any resources towards “reporters” who work has extremely limited readership and who is dumber than a rock.

They probably could have come up with 3 or 4 more reasons too. She’s already been there twice–maybe she has a reputation of some kind and someone got wind that she was approved again and it was stopped.

Why doesn’t anyone do any digging?

And shame on the Trib. Reporters used to go out and “cover” the news or dig it up. Theses guys waited for someone to bring the story to them and the “news” is the story is of the person’s own making.
