Just because you can sell SUVs for a higher profit doesn&#039;t mean there&#039;s absolutely no risks to making them the cornerstone of your product line. The market for them in America is narrowing as the economy worsens and gas prices go up, and outside of the country there&#039;s virtually no market for them. A smart Detroit would have recognized that SUVs were good for short-term, supplemental profit and not neglected the fundamentals of their company and product line. 

You really are a moron if you think the unions deserve the bulk of the responsibility, by the way.</description>
