I happen to follow the Christian faith and like many believe Christmas is a convenient pagan holiday that the Catholic Church decided to make their own. It is much like the liberty statue who is a goddess or the lady justice who another goddess who represent both liberty and justice respectively. It did not bother me overmuch but I did notice that it is an Atheist statement of faith and not a holiday decoration like a manger scene or menorah would be.
