No, I am not a liberal. Quite the opposite. No, I don't think "we need to show him some respect because he will be our President". I actually believe that since the other side broke the rules when Bush was President, they can expect that in return. I am not a fan of politeness when it prevents one from fighting to save our country. Obama is indeed a very evil man and we should do everything we can to resist him. So, what is my problem then? Well although ultimately we must defeat Obama, he can't be our focus. Not at this point. Not at first. Our #1 enemy as Conservatives right now is the Republican party. Anything that distracts us from fighting this enemy is wrong. And I believe this distracts from what must be our first focus! Look at what is going on in India. Politicians are resigning all over the place. But in the Republican party which has just suffered the electoral equivalent of what happened in Bombay, it's just business as usual. No resignations, no change in direction, nothing. I really believe that America will have buyers remorse over Obama, but then what? Remember it was the GOP that gave us bailouts, it was the GOP who arrested border agents, etc. etc. So, when the public does get buyers remorse who is going to be there as an alternative? This whole Bush-Paulson-McCain cabal, and then after that we will have a democrat and this whole thing just goes on and on. No, we must take the GOP back before then. And part of that is not failing into the trap of "hating Obama". Yeah, Obama is a bad man worthy of hate and I am not exactly saying we shouldn't hate him. But we shouldn't allow our hate for him distract us for having hatred of the GOP as it currently stands. We drunk the partisan koolaid in 2008 with supporting McCain and look at where we are at. Fight Obama sure, but first fight the GOP. Don't let our legitimate hatred for Obama be used by the GOP to play us again like they have played us in the past. Don't let them use our legitimate hatred of Obama just be a fundraising gimmick. First enemy first and our first enemy is the GOP. So let us stop taking pot-shots at the Demos and target our attacks at the RINOS! We have four long years ahead of us.
