Obama is a Christian wannabe. He has rejected long held principles of Christianity and doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. He sat in that place for 20 years, short of where he really wanted to be which was more close to standing outside every Sunday on the sidewalk. That place is far from Christianity and is also a Christian wannabe, which is why he chose that place each Sunday to begin with. Obama is going to help transform this nation into an Islamic nation during the next four years. AIG has already adapted Shariah Finance across the United States for the last few years. We are going to see it lead to Shariah Law next. Just watch.

Thank you, Jon, for saying so well the words that my mind cannot arrange. Jesus died for all, but not all will accept His lordship.

Anybody who answers a question about faith with "my God" would not do that is practicing idolatry. He is not yours to mold and shape according to what you think is fair. If you don't accept what He declares to be truth and invent your own "fair" god, you are an idolater.

The question of whether Obama is a Christian or not is not a question of what his faith is, or not. It is entirely a question of "Can he be trusted?" When you make a public claim that something is a fundamental part of you makeup, it should be the truth. What he says is very much at odds with the Christian faith, therefore; he is either lying or just using the claim for policitcal gain. Either one shows a lack of character and should be of concern for all Americans.

I can understand the mindset of an Obama and the other secularists. Why would Christ condemn a Muslim, Hindu, Jew or some other who didn't follow his teachings. What abortionist, pedophile, jihaddie doesn't rejoice in Obama's statements.

After all in his book he states if push comes to shove "he stands with the Muslims." A ture believer in Christ and his beliefs. Just like Kennedy, Pelosi, Kerry and all the other fundamentalist secularists. Oh yes as a further demonstration of his faith he attended Rev. Wright's Nuremburg demonstration.

Guess I can understand Obama's position all too well. I just hope I don't wind up where he is going.

Patrick Lawrence: The passage that you have quoted is admittedly a difficult one, but most Christians do not interpret this passage as exculpatory for “moral” pagans, which is what Obama is basically saying when he talks about moral Hindus.

Paul is simply telling the Gentiles (i.e., pagans) who received his letter that they will be judged based on God’s Law which is written on their heart. Most societies agree that adultery, bearing false witness, stealing, murder, and covetousness are wrong. (Of course, a case could be made that America no longer believes these things are wrong!) Even the pagan would be pricked by a guilty conscience for doing the wrong thing. The pagan is a sinner just like the Jew, and the only remedy for sin is Jesus Christ—that is why he is the only way.

Romans 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

Paul is showing us that this includes Gentiles (i.e., pagans).

Later on in the letter, Paul will show the antidote for sin.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It is a gift; it cannot be earned by a Christian; it cannot be earned by an American; and it cannot be earned by a Hindu. It can only be obtained by placing saving faith in Christ.

This is clearly the traditionally view of Protestant Christianity, which I believe is the biblical and correct view; I don’t pretend to know what the Catholic view is.

Well, my friends, we will have to agree to disagree. But for the record: Conservative evangelical Christians (including the Southern Baptist Convention) are the largest Christian group in the United States according to Pew Research as of last year. It is the mainline denominations (Methodist, Episcopalians, Presbyterians, Congregationalists, etc.) that continue to hemorrhage members. Why? Because they don’t believe in biblical Jesus Christ any more. They are apostate churches like the one Obama belonged to.

Ster: I suspect you went to a church that focused on the humanity of Jesus Christ. That is what most apostate churches do; they are okay with Christ the man, but not Christ the God. Most Bible believing churches focus on the Deity of Christ.

exDemocrat: Your post was hilarious.
