Michael Jackson Converts to Islam, Changes Name to Mikaeel

Wacko Jacko has now made the conversion to full blown wacko. He has expressed his interest in recent past of the the religion of the pedophile prophet Muhammad, especially their fashion. Below is a photo of him in 2006 cross-dressing as a Muslim woman. His brother Jermain has been wanting him to convert for a while now.
The Sun reports that Michael decided to adopt the name of one of Allah’s angels, Mikaeel.
The singer, who was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, converted to Islam in a ceremony at a friend’s house in Los Angeles.
He is said to have sat on the floor and worn a small hat while an imam officiated.
According to The Sun, the ceremony took place while Jackson, 50, was recording an album at the home of Steve Porcaro, a keyboard player who composed music on his Thriller album.
The former Jackson 5 star was counselled by David Wharnsby, a Canadian songwriter, and Phillip Bubal, a producer, who have both converted.
A source said Jackson had appeared a “bit down” and added: “They began talking to him about their beliefs, and how they thought they had become better people after they converted. Michael soon began warming to the idea.
“An imam was summoned from the mosque and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief.”
I wonder if anyone informed Mikaeel that Muslims still practice slavery of Africans and the prophet condones the practice. I wonder what it was about the religion that was so attractive to him.
Lets hope they keep him.

The fact that you are reporting this, and in this manner, on a blog that is supposed to be about stopping an organization who you believe opposes specific individual groups, is ironic, hypocritical and sad. It’s called Freedom of Religion. Let’s not forget that there are plenty of “Whackos” practicing Christianity out there.

Nobody is disputing whether Jacko has the RIGHT to convert. This is a free country, and we are also free to ridicule him. And the owners of this blog have the right to talk about whatever the heck suits them too.
It just so happens that it is the ACLU that is trying to suppress and silence everyone whose point of view differs from theirs, and that only serves the interests of an entire religious community that erupts in violence over a silly cartoon, and doesn’t practice religious freedom in their OWN countries.
Fool, go live in Saudi Arabia for a while and test their religious freedom. Say”jesus loves you” to a passerby. Then come back and talk to us about hypocrisy, and see if the ACLU can get your sorry rump out of that Saudi jail you’re probably going to be bounced into.

Of course the owners of this blog can blog about whatever they want. It just shows the type of people they are when they step outside of their political cause to ridicule someone for their religious choices. It’s actually great that they do choose to post such garbage because it’s easier for sensible people who might have taken this blog seriously to see that this blog, its authors and its cause are rooted in bigotry.
And, for your information, there are over a billion peaceful Muslims living in this world, while you choose to focus on only the radicals. Meanwhile, most of the American domestic terrorists have been Christians, as have most of the serial killers.
Lastly, nobody is questioning whether the right to practice any religion you want is better here than in Saudi Arabia, but your prejudiced against those who choose the Muslim faith pretty clearly indicates that you do not prefer people exercise that right.

We all know that micheal Jackson had live a rather unpleasant life. everyone knows his background and his cases.. and now he wanted to seek peace and solace and starts his life anew.. rather than condemning and criticizing him i think it is better to give him support.
Changing is not easy.. why make it harder for him. come on, be sensible.

TRY TO PROVE IT with some facts Bud. When you’re done, be sure and include you case for just exactly WHERE Christ taught them to do that. You won’t find it.
But that is not the case with Islam. According to the principle of “ABROGATION”, you will find that the last Sura which contains the teachings of RADICAL JIHAD are the ones that Islamic doctrine itself validates as binding on the actions of Muslims. Just because all those “peaceful Muslims” choose to ignore it, doesn’t justify the evil that is Islam and Mohammed actually ARE.
In contrast, that so-called majority of “Christian serial killers” you allege to exist, who chose to ignore Christ’s own teachings, do not invalidate HIM!

By the way, the translation of that Sura which you cited is this:
-Say: “I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of mankind,

-”From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one’s heart after one remembers Allâh) ,
-”Who whispers in the breasts of mankind,
-”Of jinn and men.”
I don’t see any “teachings of RADICAL JIHAD” in those verses. So in order for any sane mind to take you seriously, I’m going to have to ask you for a citation.

Well is this Christianity? To throw abuses at people in distress? Is this real Christainity to abuse people it could not give light to? Is this Christianity - not to acknowledge that they could not serve their duties to give peace to people who are overloaded with troibles? Have they forgotten what Jesus said to enburdened souls? Discussing about religion is a very dangerous. It can result in a world war, the spark can start anywhere, in any weak mind. I cant argue with my own brother over our same religion, we end up shouting.

The word Jihad means ‘Struggle’, in the old time, we had no rescue 911 or Armies, thus gathering men for problems like floods, building roads, protection from beasts etc was called Jihad. Even sending a child to school may be called a Jihad against illiteracy.

My family and I had always been muslims our whole life. We never had any slave, we don’t enslave anyone and never know what is it like to practice slavery either. You who wrote this must be someone who lives since the ancient eras and missed what you had before in today’s life. FYI, in Islam EVERYONE is equal to one another. So please…your statement is a spam!

That said, the world needs to learn Islam in its truthful sense. There has been too much focus on the media’s perceptions on Islam and all this hubbub about Osama. It is just sad how one man’s voice becomes a representative for ALL when in fact countless number of Muslims condemned what he’d done. And as for the so-called freedom of expression, yes, it a liberty for all, BUT NOT to the point of ABUSING it to ridicule other people. We love to claim ourselves to be, why not BE them?
The caricatures of Prophet Muhammad were condemned NOT because we want to suppress the freedom of expression as everyone else would like to think, but because Muslims regard him as revered that any images conjured about him are taboo. So is the image of Allah. It’s one thing to be the observer, but it is another to be the one experiencing it. Unless you are willing to accept the VOICES of the MODERATE Muslims, then I feel sorry for you won’t be able to grasp the actual idea.

Most of us, if not all, claim to be smart, civilized and cultured people, why not be them?
If Islam was such an awful religion then why is it the fasted growing religion in the world?
Lets try and focus on some good Muslims for once because there is plenty, why does everyone put all their energy into the bad.

Cant we discuss religion with diplomacy and understanding instead with insults and arguments.

Its rich meaning is to, ’struggle, strive’. If need be to retaliate and use force if Islam and its people are being attacked. Every one has the right to protect themselves don’t they?
People forget the Bush Doctrine policy says,(United States had the right to aggressively secure itself from countries that harbor or give aid to terrorist groups) which is conflicting with the policy of preventative war!
This policy is the cause of the deaths of so many innocent Men, women and children! So many more than the people that died in 9/11 and 7/7. No doubt it was devastating but no way does it justify this or the likes of the occupation in Iraq and Palestine!

Please don’t judge Islam on what some moslims do or how media portrays it. I heard MJ reverting to Islam, Its his own decision, let him live with that. Read Quran and you will also realize that its one of the simplest, true and the most practical religion. Please, judge Islam after reading The Quran.
